  • EXCLUSIVE: Rihanna's brother Rorrey Fenty has been arrested for allegedly assaulting two people in Barbados. Fenty, 29, is accused of attacking Lee-Ann Lingo, while at an event on the party boat M.V. Dream Chaser, moored in the island’s capital, Bridgetown, on January 20. The younger brother of the pop superstar is also accused of punching Andrew Thornton later that same day before he was arrested and charged with actual bodily harm. The two alleged victims are both members of the same tennis club on the island. Fenty appeared at District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court before Acting Magistrate Anika Jackson on Friday February 1 where he denied all the charges. Fenty was granted $1,000 bail and ordered to attend his next hearing on June 6. The 6ft 5'' entrepreneur was pictured leaving court in Bridgetown wearing a white shirt, a black bowler hat and round spectacles. He was surrounded by a number of friends and family. Fenty is close to his superstar big sister and grew up together in their native Barbados. He describes himself as a businessman and has set up a lifestyle brand called Orign on the Caribbean island. He has also tried to follow in his famous sister's footsteps by releasing his own music. He is the immediate younger brother of Rihanna and has another younger sibling called Rajad 22. All three are the children of Ronald and Monica Fenty. Rorrey also has three older half-siblings Samantha, Jamie and Kandy who Ronald fathered during his womanising past. Rhianna's family are no strangers to controversy and the Umbrella singer is even in the process of suing her father. She claims he wrongfully used her Fenty Brand and his relationship with her to help launch his own business. Rihanna, 30, claims Ronald started a company called Fenty Entertainment, however, Fenty has already been trademarked by Rihanna to be used for a number of her own ventures. Rihanna also claims in court documents that her father and his business partner falsely advertised themselves as h

  • February 4, 2018 - London, UK. 4th February 2018. Artist Andrew Cooper points out his sculpture of theheads of Lambeth Councillors responsible for social cleansing to Aysen Dennis from the Aylesbury Estate. Campaigners mark the third anniversary of the announcement by Network Rail of their plans to redevelop the Brixton Arches with a rally and a three minute silence. The area and its small traders who have been displaced (a few are still fighting to remain) has been described as the 'heart of Brixton'. The work was supposed to be completed by 2016 but is only scheduled to start tomorrow, and the Save Brixton Arches campaign are calling for it to be abandoned as the plans for the work fail to include proper fire safety precautions and will severely restrict access by emergency services to local businesses and the railway and station. They also call on Lambeth Council to insist that the conditions of the planning permission that included no adverse effect on the market traders in Brixton Station Road be applied, as the work as planned will produce dust and pollution which will almost certainly force those who prepare food in the area out of business. They also point out that there are no safety measures to protect local businesses, young children in the nearby crèche or the general public from potentially dangerous airborne particles during the removal of asbestos. There was also a call for an investigation into local Labour MP Helen Hayes, elected in 2015, who until she resigned shortly before the election was a senior partner in the firm Allies & Morrison which made the recommendation for the 'improvement' of the arches in 2013, though she has denied any personal involvement. A&M have been involved in many contentious 'regeneration' schemes with developers and councils across London which opponents describe as social cleansing. • *PREMIUM EXCLUSIVE * The photos surfaced as an unnamed industry videographer who worked closely with Meghan Markle before she met her husband Prince Harry revealed she was already called 'princess' because of her 'difficult' and 'demanding' behavior on set. According to the professional cameraman, Meghan would bring a large entourage with her on set and laid down a strict set of rules – including not to shoot her feet. The 38-year-old's feet became a hot topic of conversation after she took off her shoes during a royal tour in New Zealand in 2018, revealing what some thought was a scar from a bunion-removal operation. Meanwhile lifestyle photographer Tommy Mendes, who took the shots in 2015, said Meghan was 'intense', turned up with a 12-strong entourage and seemed like a woman 'on a mission'. In the images, Meghan appears very business like in a series of smart and stylish outfits appropriate for the office. Mendes, 44, who now is a managing partner at popular Bar Belly in Manhattan, shot Meghan for the now defunct New York lifestyle website The Aesthete in 2015, before she had met the prince. 'She was an intense person for sure,’ he said. 'When you go to a photoshoot it's usually just a couple of people, but she had like 12 people with her there. Her own make-up, people like that. • Meet the Woman Who Lives With 1,500 Tarantulas...Just one bite from one tarantula can cause grave discomfort — imagine living with 1,500 of them all under one roof...A 28-year-old Indonesian woman named Ming Cu has been collecting tarantulas since 2010. Known as “Queen Tarantula”, the woman considers her venomous arachnids as pets...The Bandung resident even created a website called “Spider Lover Pet Shop” where she sells unusual pets online..Cu, who is also a breeder, admits to having been bitten “several times”, but it doesn’t stop her from pursuing her love for spiders, even when her business partner and friend quit the business they started together...“The challenge in breeding and keeping thousands of tarantulas is that I’m actually doing it alone, at first, and so it takes me time, personal time, there is no me time at all,” Cu said...Cu’s obsession with spiders started 7 years ago when she photographed a tarantula she saw in their backyard. She instantly became hooked and looked for sellers online to get her first tarantula...Her fascination and collection grew, and before she knew it, she collected over 1,500 spiders that are now living in a jars and glass terrariums in a designated room in her home. Cu said that she probably cashed out around $55,000 for her collection...The Badung Institute of Technology graduate said that her parents were apprehensive at first of her unusual business venture and hobby, but both have grown supportive of her love for spiders..© Ming Cu/Exclusivepix Media (Credit Image: © Exclusivepix media via ZUMA Press)
