  • This video shows the astonishing damage caused to a car after it was broken into by a bear. The terrifying damage was caused by a bear in Colorado, who is well known for a number of previous break-ins. Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) posted a video of the car, which had been parked in front of a home in Estes Park, on Friday May 10. The shocking clip, showed the interior of the vehicle had been torn to shreds by the raw power of the hungry bear. The seats had been decimated, the driver side door was also completely destroyed and the ceiling of the car had also been ripped down. Amazingly, the creature was known to authorities and had carried out several similar attacks, nearby. In a statement, CPW said: "'This video from last night's incident shows what can happen to your vehicle if you leave your car doors unlocked. Bears are exceptionally smart, which means us humans have to be exceptionally Bear Smart!". 16 May 2019 Pictured: Damage caused by bear attack. Photo credit: MEGA TheMegaAgency.com +1 888 505 6342

  • This is the beautiful Rhode Island estate where Jennifer Lawrence will wed art gallery director Cooke Maroney today (Saturday 19 October). Belcourt of Newport, as it is called today, was designed in 1894 by the renowned American architect Richard Morris Hunt and inspired by Louis XIII’s hunting lodge at Versailles. It is currently owned by Carolyn Rafaelian, CEO of Alex and Ani, who had the sprawling 40,000-square-foot estate restored in 2012. The property has changed hand several times over the year and used to be known as Belcourt Castle, before it was re-birthed under its current name. Back in the 1990s the property became the talk of the town on account of the raucous parties it hosted, including a ‘No Underwear Allowed’ theme where female guests had to stand over a mirror to prove they were abiding by the rules. After decades of little care, the once-derelict mansion started to offer ghost and murder mystery tours. Rhode Island native Ms Rafaelian purchased the property in 2012 for $3.6million and oversaw a year-long restoration, which included an exorcism of the property. Speaking to the New York Times in 2013, Ms Rafaelian said: ‘There were energies and entities, some not pleasant. ‘I had a shaman perform ceremonies. We did a major cleansing, energy-wise. There was a lot.’ Today, 29-year-old actress Lawrence is set to exchange vows with Maroney, 34, at the historic venue, with 150 guests expected to attend. And an extravagant menu, complete with an array of hors d’oeuvres and many dessert options, including s’mores, is set to be served up. 19 Oct 2019 Pictured: CAPTION: Belcourt of Newport, the historic and lovingly-restored 1894 estate in Rhode Island where Jennifer Lawrence is set to wed Cooke Maroney on Saturday 19 October, 2019. • A world record breaking elephant sculpture stopped people in their tracks on a suburban street as passers-by stopped for a closer look. The almost four-metre-tall beast — mounted outside a printing company in Birmingham, UK — is destined to set a new record as the biggest animal sculpture created by a 3D printing machine. The technological marvel is perfectly life like, though larger than most elephants in the wild and as a permanent sculpture, is set to become a new landmark for the UK’s second. largest city. The animal is mounted high on the wall of creative print company, Andesign, and is shown smashing through the building's brickwork out onto the street. Unveiled by Sutton Coldfield MP Andrew Mitchell, a crowd of 100 gathered to see the spectacular pachyderm revealed to the public for the first time. Mr Mitchell said of the sculpture: ‘This is a properly astonishing spectacle and a measure of the great ingenuity that typifies British industry and the very clever creative people who work here. Isn't it incredible what has been achieved with a print machine ? ‘In fact, it's so lifelike that my dog is completely terrified to come out of the car or anywhere near the thing.’ The African elephant was created by the world's biggest and fastest 3D printing machine, which can duplicate absolutely any object imaginable in the tiniest detail by printing line upon line of a special resin. The as yet unnamed elephant was created over five days of continuous printing and is the biggest animal ever created by a printing machine. Delighted bosses at Andesign await confirmation from the Guinness Book of Records but are refusing to rest on their laurels with even bigger and better projects now lined up. ‘The elephant has been a tremendous experience and incredible hard work,’ said Andesign MD Garry Hassell. ‘But the sky is the limit for us now and we'll keep looking to create more and more incredible things. ‘You never know, we even might try to print a blue

  • May 3, 2017 - Four people have been killed and approximately ten people have been injured by a car bomb blast in Syria’s northern city of Azaz. The attack took place in the main open square of Azaz and among those killed are two Iraqis who had moved to Azaz to escape the war and violence in Iraq. Another victim is a Free Syrian Police officer from Azaz. The death toll may rise as several people have been seriously wounded by the blast. The town of Azaz has been a major hub for fighters and opposition activists, and the vehicle exploded near an office associated with Syria's pro-opposition interim government, although the building was not damaged in the attack. While nobody has claimed responsibility for the blast, some believe that either the Islamic State or the YPG Kurdish militia may be behind it. The town has been subject to previous attacks, some of which were claimed by the Islamic State group. The blast also coincides with the resumption of a new round of negotiations between the Syrian government and the opposition in the Kazakh capital, Astana (Credit Image: © Juma Mohammed/ImagesLive via ZUMA Wire)
