  • By Sanjay Pandey in India for MailOnline This 40-year-old gritty man not only survived 12 hours with a 5ft long and tree branch lodged in his neck and head, but also managed to travel 60km with the (wood) staff to a private hospital in Bangalore, India. Farm labourer Nanjesha HN, who hails from Amruthur in Tumkur district of south Indian state of Karnataka, had met with a road accident and got himself impaled on the branch (3cm in diameter) on December 22. The staff pierced through his neck - entering from the left of the neck and exiting on the right side behind the ear. A team of doctors from Sparsh Hospital, Yeshwantpur, successfully removed the branch and saved his life. Four months on, the patient has recovered well and is able to narrate his own story. “On December 22, I was riding a two-wheeler from my house and was heading toward Kunigal to attend the funeral of a relative. I veered to my left to avoid an oncoming truck. But I lost my balance and impaled myself on a dried up branch lying on the ground,” said Nanjesha, still struggling to speak clearly. “It pierced through my neck and emerged on the other side from behind my ear. I was bleeding profusely and had to keep my mouth wide open, gasping for breath. At that time, I didn’t know whether I would live to see the next morning. But I never gave up and kept fighting for survival,” he added. Luckily for Nanjesha, a passersby spotted him and called an ambulance. Though the vehicle reached in 20 minutes and he was taken to the nearby Kunigal government hospital, the doctors refused to take his case. “The doctor didn’t even touch me. I was still on the ambulance, so they decided to take me to another nearby hospital in Belluru Cross,” Nanjesha recalled. From there, he was taken to a private medical college where doctors administered first aid. Since the patient’s airways were obstructed, the doctors had to do a tracheostomy near his throat to provide an air passage to help him breathe. “I w

  • EXCLUSIVE: American heiress Gabriela Kabrins Alban with her sadistic playboy lover, turned murderer, Diego Novella. Novella is facing life in a hell hole prison after being found guilty of the horrific murder and desecration of a pretty marketing executive. Crazed killer Novella, 43, strangled and smashed in the skull of the Beverly Hills’ millionaire's daughter, 39, after downing a massive cocktail of drugs. The super-rich Guatemalan claimed the mind blowing concoction made him view his future bride-to-be as a “demon” and he admitted launching a ferocious attack to “kill it”. Novella told the Western Cape High Court in Cape Town, South Africa, that he accepted that he killed the heiress but denied murder blaming the drugs for his deadly actions. The shocked court heard an expert pathologist estimated that after Gabriela was choked to death her lover spent at least two hours desecrating her body in a horrific manner. He smashed her brain out of her skull then jammed her throat and mouth full of food then defecated on her face and covered it with chocolates, sweets, and potato crisps. The court was told that there was clear evidence he had sex with her and sodomised her but Novella claimed that it was consensual and took place before he killed her. He assaulted her with curling tongs, laid out her hair extensions between her legs and left a note on her breasts reading “cerote,” which means “piece of shit” in Spanish. Defence lawyer William Booth claimed Novella was not guilty of murdering Gabriela but was suffering from diminished responsibility due to the psychotic effects of the drugs. He said his client had taken cannabis, cannabis oil and an over-the-counter drug called sceletium which causes stimulation and euphoria and claimed together they “blew his mind”. Scientific tests on Gabriela’s semi-naked body showed no trace of illegal drugs in her system and her entrepreneur father Howdy, 70, insisted that his daughter was not a drug user. 27

The photos — filed at a court in Virginia by Heard’s legal team — form part of a bombshell dossier as a rebuttal to Depp’s $50million defamation lawsuit against his former wife. Graphic images show Amber with facial abrasions, bruises, and clumps of hair missing following an incident which allegedly happened days before Christmas in Los Angeles in December 2015, just nine months after the pair married. In the deposition Amber, 32, claims Depp, 55, attacked her at their Los Angeles penthouse before friends were due to arrive She claims that at one point he dragged her by the hair, onto their marital bed, and beat her while screaming: 'I'll f*****g kill you, you hear me?'  Describing what happened next, Heard claims in the legal document: 'Hoping to avoid the violence, I tried to calm Johnny down, and then went upstairs to try to remove myself from the situation. 'Johnny followed me, hit me in the back of my head, grabbed me by my hair again, got in front of me on the steps, and then dragged me by my hair up the last few steps.  'At the top of stairs, Johnny shoved me twice, which made me fear I would fall. I told Johnny that he had broken my wrist in an attempt to get him to stop. 'Johnny kept hitting me, and each time he knocked me down, I chose to react by simply standing up and looking him in the eye. Johnny responded by yelling: "Oh, you think you’re a f***ing tough guy?" 'He reeled back and head-butted me in my face, bashing my nose, which immediately began bleeding, sending searing pain through my face. I instantly started tearing up, and I thought that I would have to go to the hospital.  'I told Johnny I wanted to leave him, and that I would call the police if he ever touched me again.
