  • EXCLUSIVE: An epic clash of the titans has been caught on camera which saw one angry rhino mum scare off 15 ELEPHANTS Carpenter Martin Meyer was visiting a national park in South Africa when he spotted a rhino mum with her young calf. Martin has been visiting the park for 20 years on and off and often drives there for a ‘builder’s break’ between jobs. But never in all the years he’s been visiting had he seen anything like this before, when one rhino mum faced-off against a whole herd of elephants. Martin’s amazing images were taken around 4.20pm when he came across the brewing confrontation. Martin, who is not naming the park to protect the rhino mother, said: “Armed with an incredibly beautiful horn and her motherly instinct the mother rhino stood her ground and protected the calf, although she was completely outnumbered by the elephants. “A herd of about 15 elephants consisting of a matriarch and a few youngsters and a few sub adult bulls were approaching and going to cross the path of the mum and the calf. “The rhino mum looked intently in their direction and the ellies seemed oblivious to her and the calf and kept encroaching on her personal space. “When they were around 20 metres away from her position she exploded into a sprint with the baby following and ran directly towards the elephants sending them scattering in all directions, with a massive cloud of dust as a result. “After recovering from the initial shock the elephant herd regrouped and aligned themselves next to one another to slowly move closer to the rhino mum, almost taunting her. Some of the young bulls even moved around and circled them from behind.” More than three minutes of stand-off followed as the stare down continued between the rhino mother and the matriarch of the ellies. Martin said: “My adrenaline was pumping and I was holding my breath for what might happen next, my wife always jokes with me that I stop breathing when I see special stuff in the bush. “As the d

  • Portraits of perfection: No, they're not photos, but pencil drawings by a young genius from a tough council estate..Stare closely at the pictures on this page. What do you think it took to create these beautiful images of Amy Winehouse, Mother Teresa, Princess Diana and Rihanna? An expensive camera, a precision lens, hours of trial and error from a skilled photographer?.Well, the answer is none of the above..All of these extraordinarily detailed pictures are pencil drawings, created purely by hand Ñ with no digital trickery Ñ by British artist Kelvin Okafor, whose only tools are a set of pencils, a piece of paper and the occasional stick of charcoal (though most of the pictures donÕt even require that). Yet no matter how closely one looks, thereÕs not a pencil line in sight..The artistÕs story is almost as sensational as the pictures he has been producing since he was a teenager who was too poor to leave his house to socialise. Instead of drinking and clubbing, Ofakor, now 27, stayed at home in Tottenham, North London, seeking solace in drawing. Now it looks as if heÕs on his way to fame and fortune..Today, an exhibition of his work opens at LondonÕs Science Museum Ñ and already some of his portraits are changing hands for £10,000 apiece. This week, a portrait he drew of King Hussein of Jordan is to be presented to the late monarchÕs widow, Queen Noor..Anyone can commission a portrait, though he will charge anything from £800 to £3,000 for his work. He says he prefers to work from photographs rather than real life Ñ partly because of the length of time he spends on each picture..So how does Okafor create these incredible works of art? ÔBefore I start drawing, I spend a few hours Ñ even a few days Ñ analysing the face from every angle. I usually start with the eyes. From there, I make the whole shape of the face and I work in the detail..ÔI draw in sections. IÕm right-handed so I work from left to r

The Raiders chose to demonstrate prior to their nationally televised contest following tweets earlier in the day from United States President Donald J. Man lives with 2 meter alligator<br />
In Kure City, Hiroshima, Japan, lives Mr. Nobumitsu Murabayashi, a 65 year old man who has been living with an alligator for 34 years. The alligator’s name is Caiman, and it is a male spectacled caiman. He bought the baby alligator at a festival without thinking too much about it, and now it’s grown into a hefty 2.1 meters and 46 kilograms. Though Mr. Murabayashi keeps a massive tub of water in front of his house for Caiman, he roams freely, spending a lot of his time in the tatami room, or sometimes the bathroom. Because of this, he has to have the tatami renewed once a year, and the sliding paper doors are full of holes. Despite that, Mr. Murabayashi cares for Caiman like his own son, and when he has time he takes him for walks in the city. Don’t worry, he has permission from the city government! He’s been featured in TV shows before, and many people know about him, but still, when people see the huge alligator walking down the street, even the locals stop and stare at him closely. With his children all grown up and independent, Mr. Murabayashi now showers Caiman with all of his attention. Caiman, who is expected to live another 20 to 30 years, has become the joy of Mr. Murabayashi’s life.

  • EXCLUSIVE: A GYM GOER WAS STUNNED WHEN HE NOTICED THE FACE OF BABY APPEAR ON HIS KNEE WITH PIX AND VIDEO By Magnus News Agency A gym goer was stunned when he noticed the face of a baby appear on his knee. The bizarre ‘birth’ of the infant visage struck Alex Trewhitt, 37, as he worked out on ‘leg day’ at his local gym. Alex, from Harrogate, North Yorks, was in the midst of his weights routine when he noticed a tiny face staring back at him the mirror. Far from shunning his new knee cap companion, proud Alex has welcomed what he assumes is a baby boy into the world and dubbed him Neil. Alex, who plays guitar in rock duo Hell Fire Jack, said Neil will be his first ‘child’ and he hopes to adopt. He said: “I first noticed Neil in the mirror at the gym. It was leg day, so I was in the middle of performing squats when I noticed a small face looking back at me. “It took me a little by surprise as I’d never noticed it before. It instantly reminded me of the scene from the film Total Recall with the baby living in the guy’s stomach. “I have had a mixed reaction from my friends, some offered their congratulations whilst others said it was the best place for it. Once said it looked a bit like Kim Jong Un. “Despite having two knees, after further analysis I can confirm that Neil is an only child. “I think life will remain pretty much the same, I might see if I can adopt Neil officially but I’m not sure of the proper channels for that. “I have started to take extra care when kneeling down to tie my shoelaces.” ENDS. 01 May 2019 Pictured: Pic from Alex Trehitt/ Magnus News. • EXCLUSIVE: Erramatti Mangayamma, 73, was so desperate and determined to have a baby that she ‘underaged herself’ to avoid the chances of being ruled out for the IVF treatment. "She lied about her age to avail the treatment. But after fact-checking with her husband and kin, who in turn submitted her school records, we discovered that she was born on September 1, 1946. And we got to know about this after she conceived,” said Dr. S Umashankar, who headed the team of doctors at Ahalya Nursing Home in the southern Indian Andhra Pradesh state's Guntur town. The doctors told the family that they have to live in the hospital during the entire course of pregnancy. “I told her husband that I cannot let you go home as they would jeopardise our treatment plan,” said Dr Uma Shankar.
Erramatti and her husband were fine with that arrangement. “But we didn’t know how to organise funds for such a pro-longed treatment and stay at the hospital.
It was then the hospital administration told us that we don’t need to worry about the expenses as the entire cost of treatment would be borne by the hospital trust,” said the new mother. The hospital authorities knew that they were staring at an even bigger challenge after they discovered that woman was carrying twins. It was a double whammy for the team. First the woman was 73 and not 65 as claimed by her and secondly, she had conceived twins. “We formed three teams for her. One to look at her nutrition status, second one looked at her cardiac and other health parameters and the third one looked into her pregnancy status,” said Dr Uma Shankar. So finally six-decade-long wait came to end. Mangayamma gave birth to two healthy baby girls on Sept. 5 morning. “Now, no one call me sterile. I thank god and the doctors who have this possible,” said an emotional Erramatti struggling to hold back her tears. Hailing from Nelapartipadu village in East Godavari district, Mangayamma was childless after 54 years of marriage. Sh
