She was the sole heir to L'Oreal, the largest cosmetics company in the world, which was started by her father, and a large shareholder in Nestle. Nearly a decade ago a trial forced Liliane's personal business into the public light, laid bare her obsession with a flashy homosexual photographer whom she turned into a billionaire, destroyed her relationship with her daughter, turned a long time family butler against her, and, finally, turned the dowager heiress into even more of a recluse than she had been before. • File photo - Liliane Bettencourt and her daughter Francoise Bettencourt-Meyers are pictured during a ceremony of 2011 LÂ’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Awards at l'Unesco headquarter in Paris France on March 3, 2011. Five exceptional women scientists, one from each continent, will receive the 2011 LÂ’Oreal-UNESCO For Women in Science Awards. Liliane Bettencourt has died aged 94 it was announced on September 21, 2017. Bettencourt was the richest person in France and the third-richest woman in the world with a net worth of $40 billion. • Hilaria Baldwin releases a photo on Instagram with the following caption: "It has been my greatest joy in life becoming a mother...we all know that it is hard, and comes with aches and pains, but one thing I wasn’t prepared for the first time around was the postpartum hair loss. I would actually say that it is the thing I dread the most when having a baby. Mine always starts to shed around now, picks up (like horror film style) around 3 months, then reduces to normal shedding 6 weeks after that. Then, the regrowth awkward process begins...tiny, sticking up hairs, all over my head 🎉. I always have to reassure myself that it will grow back, but, nevertheless, I do find that it is upsetting each time around—even though I know what to expect now. I tried short haircuts, I tried bangs....this time around, my friend Dr. Arash Akhavan (@dermatologyandlasergroup ) suggested taking vitamins. He said it won’t stop the hair loss, but may speed up the regrowth. (Side note: he is super cool and seems at first glance like he would be one of those unnatural docs...but is a wealth of information when it comes to more natural skin products). Postpartum hair loss has been a popular question here, and I would love to hear your experiences, remedies, and questions. I’m gonna finish nursing this little one now and attempt to quickly blow out my hair before some other tiny person needs me 🤗. #wegotthis2018".
