  • May 3, 2019 - Rio De Janeiro, Brazil - RIO DE JANEIRO, RJ - 03.05.2019: OBRA FEDERAL ABANDONADA - The construction of a School Unit for Early Childhood Education in the neighborhood of Jacarepaguá, which began in December 2014, is abandoned. The work consists of two large buildings, and the completion of the construction was planned for 2016. However, what can be seen in the photo is that there is no sign of when the works will be resumed. This is a work of the Federal Government in partnership with the City of Rio, whose amount invested was approximately R $ 3.5 million. This is an example of waste and neglect with public education and public money. (Credit Image: © Roberto Herrera/Fotoarena via ZUMA Press)
