  • The son and granddaughter of Robert F Kennedy pose for police mugshots - after they were arrested for allegedly throwing a loud party near the family's historic Cape Cod compound. Matthew 'Max' Kennedy, 52, and his daughter Caroline, 23, were booked for disorderly conduct and a noise violation on Sunday (August 20) in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts. Both were taken into custody and released the same night on their own recognizance. Police busted the loud party at 172 Irvine Avenue after the pair were asked to turn their music down at around 1am on Sunday and allegedly refused to do so. Police also got complaints about fireworks. Matthew was arraigned at Barnstable District court on Monday and has a pre-trial hearing set for November 22. Caroline Kennedy's arraignment has been set for the same date. The noise law they are accused of breaking is punishable by $100 fine and arrest. Matthew is the ninth son of assassinated former New York senator Robert F Kennedy. The arrests come eight months after Matthew's nephew Conor Kennedy (son of RFK Jr) was charged with disorderly conduct after he punched a man outside a nightclub in Aspen. 20 Aug 2017 Pictured: Matthew 'Max' Kennedy.
