She said: “I love being around my mom, and this shoot was an opportunity to have fun and support her work as a female entrepreneur. “She also brings a lot of comfort and positive energy with her to work, and I think it’s inspiring to see her personal relationships with everybody on set. I had a great time being a part of the shoot with the bonus of having even more mother/daughter pictures!”. 14 Mar 2018 Pictured: Ava Phillippe poses in a belted denim chambray dress to launch the Draper James Easy Pieces Collection. • A British family was left stunned after discovering this old chess piece bought for £5 is a legendary relic worth over £1m. An antique dealer purchased this ivory chess piece in Scotland in 1964. It was then passed down through his family for decades where it gathered dust in an old drawer. However, the current owners, who have not been named, were left stunned when they recently discovered it is a medieval relic worth a fortune. The figure is one of the missing Lewis Chessmens, which is a famous collection of artifacts that are believed to be over 900-years-old. The Lewis Chessmens are a stunning collection of chess pieces in the form of Norse warriors, carved from walrus ivory in the 12th century. A hoard of 93 pieces was discovered in 1831 on Scotland's Isle of Lewis. It is now held in both the British Museum in London and the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh. However, five of the chess pieces, which have developed a mythical status in the antiques world, have never been found until now. This piece, the equivalent of a rook, is the first of the missing items ever to be identified. The figurine is now set to go on auction with Sotheby's were it is expected to fetch over £1m. Sotheby's expert Alexander Kader, who was the first to examine the piece claimed his "jaw dropped" when he realized what it was. He said: "They brought it in for assessment. That happens every day. Our doors are open for free valuations. We get called down to the counter and have no idea what we are going to see. More often than not, it's not worth very much. I said, 'Oh my goodness, it's one of the Lewis Chessmen. There are still four out there somewhere. It might take another 150 years for another one to pop up.". 03 Jun 2019 Pictured: Missing Lewis Chessmen purchased for just £5. Photo credit: Sotheby's / MEGA TheMegaAgency.com +1 888 505 6342

• He's nailed it. String artist Ben Koracevic creates these incredible works of art - using just cord and nails. The London-based creative winds thousands of metres of string around tens of thousands of nails to create what he calls 'stringometry'. Among his works are a huge portrait of Hollywood star Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Keanu Reeves as his John Wick action hero character. He has also created a likeness of Batman baddie The Joker - as played by Joaquin Phoenix in 2019 movie, Joker, as well as animals including a lion and monkeys and guitarist Slash from Guns N' Roses. He only started doing 'string art' nine months ago after watching a video of someone else showing off their skills. "I was completed fascinated with the rare art form," he said. "Developing my skill and ability to replicate what I witnessed became an obsession and I soon found every spare hour being invested into practising." The self-taught artist - who holds a science degree - has since quit his job and cashed in his life savings to follow his dream. He added: "I am quite particular on the pieces I choose. "It is just an instinct where I know the image will look good in string. "It is a very time consuming process which is a quality I enjoy. I love the mental endurance and patience needed to complete a piece to high quality. "Art is a universal language where the work does all the talking!" Ben uses a grid system overlapping a photo or sketch. He then upscales that on to a wooden canvas, before "meticulously referencing" nails to mark a foundation and an outline for the string. He winds the string between the nails to create a likeness, using more string to create darker shadows and more detail. He has used between 6,000 and 30,000 nails on individual pieces - and some contain more than 3,000 metres of string. And he can spend as much as 500 hours alone creating one piece. His works are available to buy at stringometry.com and he is available for private commissions. Please credit Courtesy of

He winds the string between the nails to create a likeness, using more string to create darker shadows and more detail. He has used between 6,000 and 30,000 nails on individual pieces - and some contain more than 3,000 metres of string. And he can spend as much as 500 hours alone creating one piece. • Selena Gomez is one stylish traveler in this new photoshoot showcasing her second collection with PUMA. The 26-year-old singer is seen sporting a series of sexy styles, including wet-look hair and in cropped tops that give a flash of her toned tum. The Spring/ Summer 2019 collaboration is inspired by Selena’s rise from her hometown of Grand Prairie, Texas, to her fast-paced life today based in Los Angeles and features two brand-new shoe styles, laidback apparel and travel-ready accessories. According to PUMA, the collection is made for ‘move makers, influenced by the global girl who doesn’t just travel the world, but fearlessly leaves a mark on it’. The brand added: ‘The creative direction was inspired by Selena’s personal style and attitude. She was looking to create pieces that looked amazing, but comfortable enough for everyday use – mixing the energy of sports with the self-expression of street fashion.’ Speaking of the collection, her second with PUMA, Selena said: ‘I’m in love with this collection, because it’s inspired by my life. ‘I obviously wanted to create something that matches my lifestyle and that shows the real me – I’ve said it before, I need something that’s comfortable and flattering, pieces that I can just put on and give the impression it took me hours to plan. ‘My favorite thing about it is that it gives different nods to me, to my history. The graphics show the places that hold a special piece in my heart, my birthday, my tattoos, my identity.’ ***THE COLLECTION*** The collection comes with a couple of brand-new styles, one of them: the SG Slip-On leaves the shoelaces behind and makes way to an easy-to-wear style, launching now in Glitz (white with a sunrise inspired gradient), and Sunrise (a full sunrise inspired gradient on the upper). Furthermore, there are also some silhouettes such as the SG Runner and the Cali. The SG Runner Ice is a relaxed blend of Selena’s personal style and PUMA’s classic court an

Danielle Nicole has teamed up with HBO to create the stylish 18-piece collection based on the hit fantasy TV show. The non-leather pieces features backpacks, handbags, pouches, coin purses and wrist bags. Some boast phrases from the show, such as "Winter Is Coming" and "Fire and Blood" while the programme's houses Stark, Lannister, and Targaryen are among those represented. "For overall inspiration, we turned to the show's main characters' costumes, personalities and mythical creatures. We drew upon the fundamentals of the show, which resulted in a dark and romantic collection combined with plenty of dramatic flair," said Danielle Nicole founder and designer Danielle DiFerdinando. "We used the show's costumes for direction in designing the pieces. We wanted each material, detail and embellishment to be a direct reference to many of the looks you see in the show." • A fashion designer has unveiled this Game of Thrones-inspired collection of bags and accessories. We wanted each material, detail and embellishment to be a direct reference to many of the looks you see in the show." The collection is available now. The eighth and final season of Game of Thrones is expected to air in early 2019. Please credit MEGA/Danielle Nicole/HBO. 13 Nov 2018 Pictured: Stark cosmetic bag.
