  • February 19, 2019 - MonçãO, Portugal - A wind turbine seen operating at the sub park Mendoiro-Bustavade, one of the 5 sub parks of the Alto Minho Wind Farm, Monção, Portugal..The Alto Minho Wind Farm has an installed capacity of 240 MW, distributed in five sub-parks, designated by Picos, Alto do Corisco, Santo António, Mendoiro-Bustavade and Picoto-São Silvestre. In the north part of the country, the Alto Minho Wind Farm in the Viana do Castelo district, of Portugal, became fully operational in November 2008. At the time of completion, it was Europe's largest on-shore wind farm. The wind farm consists of 68 Enercon E-82 2MW wind turbines and 52 Enercon E-70 E4 2MW turbines, for a grand total of 240 MW. The wind farm produces 530 GWh annually, avoiding 370,000 tonnes (410,000 tons) of carbon dioxide emissions. On March 2018, Portugal generated more renewable energy than it needed for the first time in at least 40 years. Energy from renewable sources made up 103.6 per cent of mainland electricity consumption, according to data from the country’s power grid operator REN, although fossil fuels were used to occasionally top up the electricity supply. • This video shows the astonishing damage caused to a car after it was broken into by a bear. The terrifying damage was caused by a bear in Colorado, who is well known for a number of previous break-ins. Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) posted a video of the car, which had been parked in front of a home in Estes Park, on Friday May 10. The shocking clip, showed the interior of the vehicle had been torn to shreds by the raw power of the hungry bear. The seats had been decimated, the driver side door was also completely destroyed and the ceiling of the car had also been ripped down. Amazingly, the creature was known to authorities and had carried out several similar attacks, nearby. In a statement, CPW said: "'This video from last night's incident shows what can happen to your vehicle if you leave your car doors unlocked. Bears are exceptionally smart, which means us humans have to be exceptionally Bear Smart!". 16 May 2019 Pictured: Damage caused by bear attack. Photo credit: MEGA TheMegaAgency.com +1 888 505 6342

  • A "Justice For Breonna Taylor" demonstration protesting police brutality and racial inequality on September 23, 2020 in midtown Manhattan, New York City. Demonstrators are demanding further action against the Louisville, Kentucky Metro Police Department officers involved in the killing of Breonna Taylor following a Kentucky grand jury indictment of former Louisville police officer Brett Hankison who was charged today with three counts of "wanton endangerment". This protest was also in support of the Black Lives Matter movement during the worldwide coronavirus pandemic amid an atmosphere of protests, demonstrations, riots, vandalism and destruction of property in response to the death of George Floyd who died while being arrested by police officers in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 25th. Cyclists blocked automobile traffic at intersections to allow protesters to march on city streets. It appeared that a majority of the protesters wore face masks or protective face coverings.<br />

  • EXCLUSIVE: A UK TEAM OF SATELLITE HISTORIANS CLAIM TO HAVE MADE HISTORY-CHANGING DISCOVERY OF THE LOST CITY OF ATLANTIS WITH PIX AND VIDEO – LINK TO VIDEO TRAILER OF FILM MADE OF DISCOVERY http://ingeniofilms.com/elements/atlantica/ DOWNLOAD LINK TO IMAGES: https://we.tl/t-9t8GLOOvz7 By Magnus News Agency A UK team of satellite historians claim to have discovered the true location of the lost city of ATLANTIS. Ground-breaking antiquity specialists Merlin Burrows believe the ruins of the legendary civilization can be found in modern-day southern Spain. The exact location is somewhere north of the city of Cadiz, Andalucía, centred around the Doñana National Park, which the UK historians believe was once a vast inland sea. And they claim from the park south and north there is further evidence of the ancient civilisation, with 15 other settlements dotted along the coastline. Atlantis was recorded in the writings of Greek philosopher Plato who lived around 400BC. He described an advanced island civilization that ruled a vast maritime empire, some 9,000 years before his own era. The city of Atlantis at the centre of this empire was described as having, among other features, an enormous harbour wall, huge entrance pillars, a temple to the god Poseidon and massive circular pieces of land carved out by the Atlanteans to live on. It is thought a cataclysmic natural disaster, such as a tsunami or volcanic event, eventually wiped out the Atlanteans, consigning their legacy to legend. But now using unique satellite investigation techniques, aerial photography and ground observations of the site, British experts believe they have found all the features of Atlantis Plato described and evidence of how they were destroyed. Although some scholars believe Atlantis to be a myth, Merlin Burrows claim their discoveries will once and for all prove the lost civilization existed. Maritime historian Tim Akers, head of research at Merlin Burrows, said not only had they discovered Atlantis

  • A polar bear and her four-month-old cub are seen here leaving the maternity den and venturing into the outdoors in an impossibly cute video. The cub is the first polar bear to be born in the UK for 25 years and is now starting to explore the outdoor enclosure at the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland’s Highland Wildlife Park. In the video the mother Victoria is seen walking out of the maternity den first, before her precious little cub emerges behind her keeping close to his mother. The pair are then seen foraging around in the grassy outdoor enclosure, which was witnesses by visitors at the park for the first time this week [21 March, 2018]. Previously the polar bear enclosure had been closed to the public to allow the bears the privacy required in the early weeks after birth. Una Richardson, head keeper at the RZSS Highland Wildlife Park in Kincraig near Kingussie, said, “Having spent four months in her maternity den, Victoria quickly took the chance to go outside. “Understandably, her cub has been more cautious and is still getting used to new sights, smells and sounds.” Douglas Richardson, the park’s head of living collections, said, “Our pioneering captive polar bear management programme closely mirrors what happens in the wild and this birth shows our approach is working. “This is vital because a healthy and robust captive population may one day be needed to augment numbers in the wild, such are the threats to the species from climate change and human pressures. “The reintroduction of polar bears would be an enormous task but we need to have the option. While our cub will never be in the wild, there is a chance its offspring may be in decades to come.” The birth of the cub and journey so far is also being filmed for a forthcoming Channel 4 documentary. 23 Mar 2018 Pictured: A polar bear and her cub — the first to be born in the UK in 25 years - are seen emerging from their maternity den at the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland’s High
