  • EXCLUSIVE: HE is one of history’s most notorious outlaws. A serial murderer and robber whose rampage with his lover accomplice was made into Hollywood hit Bonnie and Clyde. But Clyde Barrow had a softer more creative side – as this stunning snakehead ring he gave Bonnie Parker reveals. It has surfaced for the first time since the deadly duo went on a robbing and killing spree that made them America’s most hunted criminals. Incredibly, it has been tucked out of sight from the world for decades – hidden in an attic belonging to the family of a celebrated Texas sheriff who ambushed the pair in 1933. Lawman Richard ‘Smoot’ Schmid (correct) found the ring in Bonnie and Clyde’s bullet-riddled Ford Model B after they managed to escape. Experts say it is the nearest thing to a wedding band that existed between the notorious outlaws, who died together in another ambush six months later. It was given to Bonnie by Clyde after he had been languishing in a Texas jail and was pining for the married waitress he met in 1930 when she was 19. It made $25,000 at auction in Boston, Massachusetts, yesterday along with other fascinating items of America's outlaw history including Al Capone's diamond watch, which made $84,375 (including buyer's premium) and handwritten music and lyrics by the gangster, which sold for $84,375. Meyer Lansky's watch and gold razor and a jail letter from 'Telfon Don' John Gotti were also sold. (more copy available on request). 21 Jun 2017 Pictured: Meyer Lansky's gold watch. • EXCLUSIVE: Dressed head to toe in black and wielding broomsticks like guns, a band of assailants in helmets burst through the doors shouting and screaming like terrorists. As instructed, 5-year-old Flor Edwards hid under the stairs with the other children before the invaders hunted them down and pretended to shoot them dead. After remaining still for a few minutes, the kids rose, trancelike, from the floor — lifting their arms as they mimed flying up to meet Jesus at heaven’s gates. “[The drill] was to prepare us for the apocalypse,” Edwards, now 36, told The Post. The routine “practice raids” were staged by adults in the notorious Children of God sect, of which her family were members, living in a compound hidden behind an 8-foot-tall fence in remote Thailand. “I was terrified,” she recalled. Now a teacher at a community college, Edwards left the scandal-ridden doomsday cult in her early teens and has written about her unconventional childhood in the memoir “Apocalypse Child: A Life in End Times” (Turner Publishing). 14 Jun 2018 Pictured: Flor Edwards. • EXCLUSIVE: Jhon Jairo Velasquez, known more famously as Popeye, is considered to be the world's most notorious assassin from his time as one of Pablo Escobar's most trusted lieutenants. Popeye was part of Escobar's Medellin Cartel until his surrender to the Colombian justice system in 1992. He was one of Pablo Escobar's inner circle and commanded half of the sicarios of the criminal organization 'The Extraditables'. Velasquez was released from prison in 2014 after serving over two decades for drug trafficking, terrorism and the 1989 murder of Colombian presidential candidate Luis Carlos Galán. He claims to have killed 300 people by his own hand and helped orchestrate the deaths of over 3,000. He was released for good behavior after serving 23 years of his 30-year sentence. Popeye has now emerged from hiding as Colombia puts its civil war and gangland legacy behind it and he now spends his time giving tours of Escobar's Medellín and the spots where he carried out slayings and is also a star on YouTube. 06 Aug 2017 Pictured: Jhon Jairo 'Popeye' Velasquez was mobbed by fans in Comuna 13, one of Medellín's most notorious slums and a former Escobar stronghold.
