  • Music mogul Diddy joins Kim Porter's grandma at the memorial gardens where former girlfriend Kim Porter, the mother of three of his children, will be laid to rest. Diddy could also be seen having some time away from the crowds to be alone with Kim Porters tomb before bringing the crowds together for a firework display across the waters. Mourners arrived at Evergreen Memorial Park After the funeral service at Cascades Hills Church in the former model’s hometown of Columbus, Georgia. Diddy overcame his grief to deliver a moving eulogy. Others who gave eulogies included Blige, Dallas Austin, Bishop Noel Jones and Porter's son, Usher, actor and singer Quincy Brown. Quincy broke down as he spoke and was joined at the mic by his father, Al B. Sure!, and Diddy. The service was packed with celebrities including best friend Kimora Lee Simmons, Missy Elliot, Lil Kim, Tichina Arnold, NeNe Leakes, Fat Joe, Kandi Burress, Winnie Harlow, Ryan Destiny, Stevie J and more. Porter died after suffering from a bout of pneumonia but her exact cause of death is unknown. She was just 47. Diddy, 49, and Porter were together, off and on, for 10 years, and although they were no longer a couple, they were still close, sharing three children: son Christian, 20, and twin daughters D'Lila Star and Jessie James, who turn 12 next month. They also raised 27-year-old Quincy Brown, Porter's son with singer and record producer Al B. Porter died at her Los Angeles home on Nov. 15. An autopsy was performed the next day but the results were deferred for further testing, which could take weeks. 24 Nov 2018 Pictured: P Diddy, Diddy, Sean Combs. • EXCLUSIVE: **WARNING CONTAINS NUDITY**Just when Egyptian woman Eman Ahmed’s drastic weight loss — from a whopping 500kg to 176kg merely in three months — and controversies around the story was making international headlines, there was another woman, pegged as of India’s heaviest, who quietly underwent a second round of barbaric surgery to lose further weight at a private hospital in Mumbai. Amita Rajani, the 44-year-old resident of Vasai, weighed around 300kg and was bed-ridden for around nine years. She lost 165kg in two years. After second operation, she has lost 10kg in one month. Doctors say she will be 70 by next April. "Bariatric surgery has given me a new lease of life," said Amita after her second surgery at Laparo Obeso Centre in Mumbai on April 02. More than a month after the second operation, she now weighs 125kg. "My life has changed drastically. Until 2015, I was confined to my bedroom for almost eight years as I could barely walk a few steps. Now, I can walk a few kilometers at a stretch, drive my car to work, go out shopping. I have literally got my life back. Now, I walk for at least 2km daily, earlier I needed help to turn from one side to another in the bed. The obesity had ruined my personal, professional and social life. Whenever I want I take out my car, go for a long drive or go meet my relatives and friends and wedding and birthday parties,” said Amita, who works as a share trader, adding that her friends have organized a reunion to celebrate her transformation. Amita’s weight gain, however, did not happen suddenly. It happened over the years. Amita was 116kg when she was in class 10. "In 2007, we consulted doctors in UK but since I was born with a single kidney, they said it would be a high-risk surgery," said the lady who once ran a small soft toy factory in the city. Until 2015, Amita needed four to five people to help her stand. "Today, I step out of home every day and my mother teases me about it.'' Amita kept gaining weight t

• EXCLUSIVE: *NO WEB UNTIL 8PM GMT 13TH MAY* Christina Babin's mum joined the Children of God sex cult when she was just a baby. As she grew up, travelling from commune to commune around the states, she witnessed orgies, prostitution and extreme violence against other kids until the age of 11 when a married couple took her into their bedroom to teach her to "enjoy sex" Such was the control cult leader David Berg had over his followers who he urged to teach children the joys of sex. He also adopted a 'flirty fishing' policy - sending women out to lure men into the cult with sex. Christina was also raped twice "by perverts" during her time in the cult and at 12 sent to Japan where she spent a month in a tough camp being indoctrinated before being sent to communes around Japan for the next two years. When she was 15 she was sent to the Philippines with her brother to a reprogramming camp where she spent 18 months being bullied, having her mouth taped up if she laughed and was forced to read the bible and make pledges to the cult constantly. Other 'inmates' were beaten. Her brother vanished for two months after being put in solitary isolation for having "worldly thoughts" and admitting to once smoking. All through her life she saw kids beaten, had to follow a strict regime, was beaten and disciplined by commune members. Families didn't live traditional lives - the kids lived with the kids and slept alongside them in rooms while the adults had rooms of their own. • By Sanjay Pandey in India for MailOnline This 40-year-old gritty man not only survived 12 hours with a 5ft long and tree branch lodged in his neck and head, but also managed to travel 60km with the (wood) staff to a private hospital in Bangalore, India. Farm labourer Nanjesha HN, who hails from Amruthur in Tumkur district of south Indian state of Karnataka, had met with a road accident and got himself impaled on the branch (3cm in diameter) on December 22. The staff pierced through his neck - entering from the left of the neck and exiting on the right side behind the ear. A team of doctors from Sparsh Hospital, Yeshwantpur, successfully removed the branch and saved his life. Four months on, the patient has recovered well and is able to narrate his own story. “On December 22, I was riding a two-wheeler from my house and was heading toward Kunigal to attend the funeral of a relative. I veered to my left to avoid an oncoming truck. But I lost my balance and impaled myself on a dried up branch lying on the ground,” said Nanjesha, still struggling to speak clearly. “It pierced through my neck and emerged on the other side from behind my ear. I was bleeding profusely and had to keep my mouth wide open, gasping for breath. At that time, I didn’t know whether I would live to see the next morning. But I never gave up and kept fighting for survival,” he added. Luckily for Nanjesha, a passersby spotted him and called an ambulance. Though the vehicle reached in 20 minutes and he was taken to the nearby Kunigal government hospital, the doctors refused to take his case. “The doctor didn’t even touch me. I was still on the ambulance, so they decided to take me to another nearby hospital in Belluru Cross,” Nanjesha recalled. From there, he was taken to a private medical college where doctors administered first aid. Since the patient’s airways were obstructed, the doctors had to do a tracheostomy near his throat to provide an air passage to help him breathe. “I w

I told Johnny that he had broken my wrist in an attempt to get him to stop. 'Johnny kept hitting me, and each time he knocked me down, I chose to react by simply standing up and looking him in the eye. Johnny responded by yelling: "Oh, you think you’re a f***ing tough guy?" I instantly started tearing up, and I thought that I would have to go to the hospital.  'I told Johnny I wanted to leave him, and that I would call the police if he ever touched me again. • EXCLUSIVE: Childhood pictures of Rihanna before she was famous. Robyn Rihanna Fenty, better known by her stage name Rihanna, was born in Barbados in 1988, to Ronald Fenty, who ran a garment warehouse, and Monica Braithwaite, an accountant. Along with her younger brother, Rihanna grew up in a troubled home. Her father was an alcoholic and a crack addict. Her childhood was deeply affected by her parents' marital problems and her dad's battle with drug and alcohol addictions, which eventually led to their divorce when she was 14. After his recovery, father and daughter grew close again and Rihanna still refers to him as the "coolest person on the planet". As a teenager Rihanna turned to music to escape her home troubles and formed a musical trio with two of her classmates. Her big break came in 2003 when friends introduced her and fellow bandmates to record producer Evan Rogers, who was on holiday in Barnados with his wife. When the group auditioned for Evan, he later said that "the minute Rihanna walked into the room, it was like the other two girls didn't exist." Over the course of the next year, Rihanna travelled to Rogers' home in Connecticut to work on her demo album. With the help of songwriter Carl Sturken she made a four-song demo that included "Pon de Replay" which would become her first hit single. Rihanna officially relocated when she was 16. "When I left Barbados, I didn't look back," she said. "I wanted to do what I had to do, even if it meant moving to America." Soon after, her demo fell into the hands of recording company Def Jam. She auditioned for them and legendary rapper Jay-Z, who was so impressed he signed her almost immediately. Eight months later Rihanna released her debut album, Music of the Sun, which went platinum despite less-than-rave reviews from Rolling Stone magazine who deemed it "lacking of ingenuity and rhythm." Date of pictures unknown but it's believed Rihanna was about 12 years old. 18 Oct 2017 Pictured: Rihanna. Photo credit: MEGA

  • June 23, 2017 - Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan - Hiroji Yamashiro, Chairman Okinawa Peace Movement gives a response to questions during a press conference at The Foreign Correspondent Club Of Japan ( FCCJ ) in Tokyo. In March, Japanese police released Hiroji Yamashiro, a retired civil servant, after 152 days in detention. His initial arrest was for damaging a wire fence around an American military base; he was subsequently charged with other offenses. For years, Yamashiro (65) was the jovial ringleader of protests against the heavy US military footprint on Okinawa, Japan's southernmost prefecture. Yamashiro is currently on trial and facing a possible return to prison. He was born as a son of a farmer in 1952 in Uruma City, Okinawa and worked as a civil servant in the Okinawa prefecture government office from 1982 to 2008. He has been chairman of the Okinawa Peace Movement Center since 2013. Okinawans have long lived uneasily with 19,000 marines and dozens of military installations, including the US Army's only jungle warfare training unit, all on the prefecture's narrow main island. Opposition has been building against the proposed replacement of the Futenma air base, in crowded Ginowan's city centre, with a new installation off Henoko Village in the north of the island. Next month, Okinawa Prefecture is expected to file suit against the Japanese government to stop construction in Henoko – the latest development in a dispute that has raged for two decades. Quincy broke down as he spoke and was joined at the mic by his father, Al B. Sure!, and Diddy. • These incredible photos show the San Alfonso del Mar resort in Chile — home to the second largest swimming pool in the world. The outdoor pool is located halfway up the country’s Pacific Coast in the city of Algarrobo and is filled with a staggering 66 million gallons of crystal clear seawater. Spanning an area of 20 acres — and equivalent in size to 6,000 average size home swimming pools — the San Alfonso pool, designed by water innovation company Crystal Lagoons, was until recently the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest swimming pool. But in December 2015 a sister project by Crystal Lagoons in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt, took over the title with the completion of a 30 acre pool, the first phase of plans for a total of 12 lagoons that will span 250 acres and the centerpiece of the USD $5.5 billion, 1,8500-acre Citystars project with residential apartments, hotels and shopping. Still, Sharm el Sheikh’s older sister pool in Chile, at 3,323ft long with a maximum depth of 11.5ft, is still quite the sight to behold and will turn 11-years-old next month, after opening back in December 2006. The San Alfonso pool, situated right next to the Pacific Ocean, uses a computer-controlled filtration system to suck water from the sea at one end and pump it back out at the other. The sun warms the pool to 26 degrees Celsius (79 degrees Fahrenheit) — nine degrees Celsius (48 degrees Fahrenheit) warmer than the ocean. And being the size it is, swimming it not the only thing on the agenda — the gigantic size makes it possible to sail boats and carry out all kinds of fun water sports activities. 14 Nov 2017 Pictured: The San Alfonso del Mar resort in Algarrobo, Chile — home to the second largest swimming pool in the world.
