• EXCLUSIVE: Cheryl Ladd proves she gets better with age in these photographs taken ten years apart of her striking the iconic Charlie’s Angels pose. The 67-year-old actress — who was brought in to replace Farrah Fawcett in the 1970s TV show — recreated the classic look alongside charity cohorts Lisa O’Hurley, 46 — the wife of Seinfeld actor John O’Hurley — and U.S. news presenter Megyn Kelly, 48. The ladies joined forces once again at the 15th Annual Childhelp Drive The Dream Gala on February 2 at the Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona — the same event where they first struck the Angels pose ten years ago. Cheryl — who played private eye Kris Munroe on the hit American show, the sister of Fawcett’s character, after the actress quit following the first season — looked stunning in a deep V-neck black, long-sleeve, floor-length dress. An insider at the event revealed how the three ‘real life angels’ caused a stir on account of how youthful they appeared. The source said: ‘They thought it would be fun to recreate the photo that they took at the ball in 2009, and when you compare the two pictures, they actually look better now. Everyone wants to know what their secret is.’ Megyn, who parted ways with American network NBC last year and received a reported $35 million payout — also wowed in a black and gold sequin gown. Lisa, meanwhile, turned on the glamor in a classic black off-the-shoulder mermaid dress, teamed with a sparkling diamond choker necklace. The trio helped raised $4million at the gala, which Lisa said would go to help ‘profoundly abused and neglected children’. The Childhelp organization was also celebrating its Diamond Jubilee, marking 60 years dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child abuse since 1959. Megyn — who received an award from Childhelp back in 2009 for her work as a Fox News anchor covering the subject of child abuse — said at the event: ‘I’ve been working with Childhelp for about a dozen

 • June 7, 2017 - London, UK - London, UK. 7th June 2017. A protester plays the Director of the LSE at the Life Not Money at the LSE street theatre protest supporting London School of Economics cleaners who have taken a series of weekly strikes for equality. The LSE and employers Noonan treat them as second-class citizens, refusing to recognise their union the United Voices of the World and giving them low pay and grossly inferior conditions to directly employed staff. Two sprayed a chalk slogans on the road while others alternated chanting 'London School of Exploitation' with loud blowing of vuvuzelas. They then performed a short play in which a character playing the LSE director tore the shirts off the backs of several cleaners and boasted about his huge and rapidly rising salary, while a student and a lecturer made excuses about not intervening. The LSE management had made them an offer some days ago, but withdrew it after the cleaners accepted it and the dispute appears to be widening, with students, workers from other institutions and other unions including the UCU coming to express their solidarity. There was poetry from Poets on the Picket Line as well as dancing and some high-energy chanting. Peter Marshall Images Live (Credit Image: © Peter Marshall/ImagesLive via ZUMA Wire)

 • June 18, 2017 - London, UK - London, UK. 18th June 2017. Nicola Curtis who was also elected by residents to be a member of the Resident Engagement Panel speaks about the managed neglect of the estate and reveals that Lambeth Council have now said they will no longer engage with her and Karne Bennett despite their having been elected by estate residents. They are continuing the campaign to save the Central Hill Estate, passed for demolition by the council despite the almost unanimous vote of residents for plans to refurbish rather than demolish and the plans by Architects for Social Housing which would acheive the increase in density desired without demolition. THe estate was planned by borough architect Ted Hollamby as a living community and was built to exceptional standards and was remarkably successful, with a number of original residents from the 1970s still living there and wanting to continue to do so. When it was built the Labour council believed that nothing was too good for the working people and the estate is still in remarkably sound condition despite a deliberate process of managed neglect - like that which had resulted in the Grenfell Tower disaster - by Lambeth Council to over the past 20 or so years to promote its demolition. • The Vegetarian Festival, Phuket, Thailand..Phuket Island in the south of Thailand has some of the world’s finest beaches but annually in Phuket Town, a festival takes place to which few of those sun-worshippers ever venture - or even are aware of: The Vegetarian Festival...It is the dawn of the eight day of the ninth lunar month in the Chinese calendar. .A women skewers her face and she appears to feel no pain, neither does she shed any blood. In another part of the same area, a young man, staring blankly into space, as if in a trance, takes a sword and slowly pierces the side of his face. The blade of the sword passes clean through one cheek and exits out of the other side of his mouth - without bleeding...Yet there is no trickery or magic involved for this is the famous ten-day long Vegetarian Festival. The participants - penitents and devotees called Ma Song - who invite the Spirit of the Gods to possess their bodies in seemingly horrendous acts of self-mutilation are merely participating in the Chinese Song Dao ceremony, the rituals of which stretch back nearly 160 years. These acts of apparent torture are performed in the belief that they will achieve great kudos for the sufferer whilst at the same time freeing them of any spiritual problems; in addition, for the period of the festival, they wear a white loin-cloth and smock, cleanse their bodies by abstaining from sex and alcohol, spend long periods meditating in the town’s two main Chinese temples and eat only vegetarian food that does not contain ‘sharp’ tastes such as garlic or chillies...The Festival is in honour of the Nine Emperor Gods who control people’s destinies and is thought to have begun during the reign of King Rama V, around the middle of the nineteenth century, when hundreds of Chinese, working in Phuket’s tin mines, began to neglect their rituals for the Gods; at the same time, many died from a malarial plague that also killed off a visiting theatre tr

The neglected estate is on the outskirts of Olympia in Washington.
She purchased the 6.76-acre property in early 1995 for $447,000.
According to the listing, the property is “not for the faint of heart, but the potential is rewarding.”
The main home, which has three bedrooms and two bathrooms in 2,302 square foot, needs “a ton of work.”
There’s a detached two-car garage next to a small guest cottage almost completely ruined by fire.
An eight-stall horse barn is covered in colourful graffiti on the inside walls. The grounds are unkempt.
It’s about seven miles outside downtown Olympia, and an hour-and-a-half drive southwest of Seattle.
