He said he sustained the back injury in an Aug. 17 car accident. While refusing to speak about any of the allegations against him, Weinstein said he only agreed to the interview, his first in more than a year, to prove that he hasn’t been exaggerating about his ailments. He relied heavily on a walker at a Manhattan court appearance last week, but his condition didn’t stop him from recently going out on the town at night and shopping. He told The Post that his back ailment had seriously deteriorated. **NO NEW YORK DAILY NEWS, NO NEW YORK TIMES, NO NEWSDAY, NO MAILONLINE, NO DAILY MAIL, NO DAILY MAIL TV**. 13 Dec 2019 Pictured: Harvey Weinstein. • April 14, 2017 - Bogota, Colombia - Pilgrimages and processions are still an essential part of Holy Week in Bogota, Colombia, on 14 April, 2017. Commercial exploits of the Catholic holiday have yet to manifest here – the Easter egg and Easter bunny are unquestionably overseas customs. In Colombia, as in most countries in Latin-America, Catholicism is by far the prevailing creed among the local population. A lot of people will be attending religious services during the holy days. Some communities would have invested a lot time and effort preparing for the special celebrations of the Holy Week, and in particular for the processions taking place on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Many churches in La Candelaria have carried out these processions for centuries and they are quite interesting to watch, even if you are not catholic. One of the most famous Good Friday celebrations in Bogota takes place in the parish of ‘Nuetra Señora de Egipto´ (a few blocks east from La Candelaria) where local parishioners give life to the characters of the Gospel and enact the last hours of Jesus before the crucifixion. • EXCLUSIVE: The secret girlfriend of singer Michael Jackson has spoken out ahead of the 10th anniversary of his death and told how she regrets not intervening to get him help for his problems. Shana Mangatal, 48, first met the singer when she was aged 17 and they had a relationship after she began working as a receptionist at the star’s Hollywood management company when in her twenties. She had arranged to see Jackson on Friday, June 26, 2009 - a day after his tragic death - after aides had called her to say Jackson was in trouble. Shana told The Sun: “It was devastating for years after I kept thinking, ‘What if I had gone to see him on Wednesday? Would that have changed anything? “It was a huge shock because I was supposed to go see him that week at rehearsal. That whole week I was preparing to see him. I'd gone to the mall to find an outfit to wear. "And I was trying to think of what to say to him because a couple of the people who were close to him had been calling me frantically, telling me that he was in trouble and he needed help. “One of the people was his nanny and she called me crying one day and begged me to go to rehearsal to go see him and tell him that I was here for him if he needed anything and offer to help with the children. “She really wanted me to go there and offer my help to him because she knew that he needed it but I couldn't think of what to say to him It was going to be hard for me to go to rehearsal and bring this up so I had been procrastinating all week. "I could've gone any day that week but I thought I'll just go on Friday and that will give me time to find the perfect outfit to wear and figure out what to say “Could I have somehow changed the state of mind to make him be able to stay around a little longer? I don't know. I guess we can never know, but part of the thing that haunted me all of these years was that I had an opportunity to see him at least one last time and to possibly help him and I put it off by procrastinat

Shana told The Sun: “It was devastating for years after I kept thinking, ‘What if I had gone to see him on Wednesday? Would that have changed anything? “It was a huge shock because I was supposed to go see him that week at rehearsal. That whole week I was preparing to see him. • A set of one-year-old conjoined twins who had been sharing part of their hearts have been successful separated following a mammoth seven-hour operation. Anna and Hope Richards were separated at the Texas Children’s Hospital in Texas, it was announced this week, by a multidisciplinary 75-strong team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, cardiologists and nurses. The girls were delivered via C-section on 29 December, 2016, at 35 weeks gestation, weighing a combined 9lbs 12oz (4.4kg) and were conjoined at their chest and abdomen, through the length of their torso and shared the chest wall, pericardial sac (lining of the heart), diaphragm and liver. In addition they had large blood vessels connecting their hearts. The twins are now recovering at the hospital and are expected to be strong enough to go home in about a month’s time. “We've thought about and prayed for this day for almost two years,” their mother Jill Richards said, who welcomed the girls along with her husband Michael and their sons Collin and Seth. “It's an indescribable feeling to look at our girls in two separate beds.” The epic surgery was carried out on January 13 and involved planning and preparation before the girls were even born. In November last year, aged 11 months, the twins underwent a surgical procedure to place tissue expanders to allow their skin to grow and stretch ready for their separation. Dr. Larry Hollier, surgeon-in-chief and chief of plastic surgery at Texas Children’s Hospital, said: “The success of this incredibly complex surgery was the result of our dedicated team members’ hard work throughout the last year. “Through simulations and countless planning meetings, we were able to prepare for situations that could arise during the separation. “We are thrilled with the outcome and look forward to continuing to care for Anna and Hope as they recover.” The Richards family, from North Texas, learned Jill was carrying conjoined twins during a routine ultrasound. • *PREMIUM EXCLUSIVE * Rihanna’s dad Ronald Fenty has told how he thought he was going to die after being stricken with Covid-19 - weeks after the superstar donated $5 million to fight the killer virus. The desperately worried singer and fashion mogul called every day to check on her father’s condition as he spent 14 days fighting for life in a Barbados hospital. Three people on the holiday, island, a favorite of celebrities including Simon Cowell and Mark Wahlberg, have so far died of the virus. “My daughter Robyn (Rihanna’s real name) was checking in on me every day,” said Ronald. “I thought I was going to die to be honest. I have to say ‘I love you so much Robyn.’ She did so much for me. I appreciate everything she had done.” Somehow Rihanna even managed to have a potentially life-saving ventilator for her father shipped from the States to the Caribbean island. Ronald is now recovering at the luxury home the singer brought for him in the parish of St James. Ronald was twice tested and declared virus free before being allowed to go home. Rihanna, born and raised on Barbados, made her huge donation to help fight the pandemic in the U.S. and across the globe through her Clara Lionel Foundation - named after her beloved he’s mother. Rihanna’s massive donation is earmarked for local food banks serving at-risk communities and the elderly and to promote acceleration of coronavirus testing and care in countries like Haiti and Malawi, as well as the mobilization of resources and additional capacity and support for Native communities. Rihanna’s funds are also being used to buy protective equipment for frontline health workers and diagnostic labs, to establish and maintain intensive care units, to accelerate the development of vaccines and other therapies across the globe, to train healthcare workers, and to distribute critical respiratory supplies. The desperately worried singer and fashion mogul called every day to check on her father’s condition as he spent 14 days fighting for life in a Barbados hospital. I appreciate everything she had done.” Somehow Rihanna even managed to have a potentially life-saving ventilator for her father shipped from the States to the Caribbean island.
