  • Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon are in newly-wedded bliss, soaking up the sun in the Mediterranean while on their honeymoon. The love-struck couple, who exchanged vows in front of 200 guests in Rhode Island last week, are currently enjoying a getaway in Italy and Greece, staying in three different properties available on booking.com; Casa Angelina and Capri Palace in Italy and the West East Suites in Greece. Ashley, who met Jared on Bachelor In Paradise, said of the trip: ‘Jared and I are lazy travelers. A perfect vacation to us is great food, a gorgeous property and a beautiful view to awe over, especially at sunset. ‘We booked our entire trip through Booking.com and the site made it really easy to preview the experiences to come.’ Sitting on the high cliffs of the Amalfi Coast, Casa Angelina offers beautiful modern minimalism rooms with views overlooking the Mediterranean. Guests can unwind in the panoramic outdoor pool set on one of the property’s terraces, relax at the spa or dine at the gourmet restaurant servicing Mediterranean cuisine. Ashley and Jared stayed at the property from August 13 – August 17 in a former fisherman’s house on the property located next to La Gavitella beach, which is accessed via the hotel’s lift plus 200 steps. The couple enjoyed dinner on their private deck and looking out at the sunset along the water. Ashley and Jared then made their way to Capri where they spent four days at the Capri Palace. The property offers an outdoor mosaic swimming pool, a wellness center, a private collection of painting and sculptures and is located just 1,650 feet from the shores of Anacapri. Ashley and Jared dined at the property’s 2 Michelin star Mediterranean restaurant, which is the first Michelin star restaurant the couple has been to. For the final leg of their trip, the couple will make their way to West East Suites located in the scenic village of Imerovigli. Overlooking the caldera or Aegean Sea, the suites include an elevated

  • September 28, 2018 - Palestinian pedlars sell food items during clashes between the Israeli army and Palestinian demonstrating for the Great March of Return rally along the Gaza Strip border on the east of Gaza City, on Friday 28 September 2018. The street vendors, many of whom are children and teens, bring to the protest food and drink items for the Palestinian protesters who spends hours under the scorching sun. Pedlars sell their items during the clashes in defiance to the dangers of injury and death which they face by attending the demonstration. According to a recent World Bank study, the Gaza economy is on the verge of collapse, with an unemployment rate of 53 percent (over 70 percent for youth unemployment) and with half of Gaza population living under the poverty line. The report also mentions the strict Israeli blockade imposed on Gaza since 2007 and more recent cuts to aid and funding, including to UNRWA, for the overcrowded and impoverished Palestinian enclave (Credit Image: © Ahmad Hasaballah/IMAGESLIVE via ZUMA Wire)

The Punky Brewster star, who has four children with her television producer husband Jason Goldberg, showed off the results as she celebrated her birthday poolside with her best friends in Venice Beach, California. Soleil shed the pounds with the help of meal delivery and weight-loss plan Nutrisystem, for which she is an ambassador. The actress, who turned 42 on August 6, was pictured with her best friends taking a dip in the pool, and also enjoyed a spot of spa time, shopping and dining. Soleil joined the Nutrisystem plan in 2015, the year following the birth of her third child, son Lyric Sonny Roads, and turned to the program once again after the birth of her second son, Story, the next year. Along with eating healthily, Soleil — who also has two daughters, Poet Sienna Rose and Jagger Joseph Blue — works out with a trainer so she can focus on toning her body.  She said: ‘After Story was born, I knew I wanted to join Nutrisystem again to help me lose the baby weight since it worked so well the first time. This last year, I’ve been focused on keeping up with my health habits and wanted to get those last few pounds off. ‘I’m excited to say that I am finally at my goal weight of 42 pounds lost! ‘For me, it’s about feeling like my best self and I feel better than now I did in my twenties.’ Talking about juggling four kids with her weight loss goal, Soleil went on: ‘I’m also a busy mom of four beautiful kids and I know I need to lead by example so I’m not going to starve myself in front of them. ‘We love cooking as a family, and being able to teach my kids about food is a great way for me to stay on track, but also show them that mommy is healthy and happy.’  Speaking about her birthday celebration in Los Angeles. Sources say Foxx will play a family man who has suffered a great loss and is desperate to trace the drug’s supply line and find its designer. Joseph Gordon-Levitt also stars along side Foxx and is said to play a beat cop who takes law enforcement matters into his own hands. 25 Oct 2018 Pictured: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jamie Foxx, Dominique Fishback. • March 4, 2016 - Charlesville, Liberia - Liberian Chimpanzee Rescue caregivers prepare large amounts of food on March 4, 2016 in Liberia, West Africa. Foraging for the food takes a great deal of time. .The Humane Society of the United States and New York Blood Center came to an agreement recently in May 2017 after years of discussion about the care of research chimps that were abandoned by NYBC which withdrew all funding for food and water after decades of biomedical experimentation. Their former caregivers used their own meager finances to continue feeding them. HSUS stepped in to improve the dire situation in which the chimps were literally left to die if not for the heroic efforts of their caregivers, former employees of NYBC who were abandoned as well. • August 15, 2017 - Dhaka, Bangladesh - Nag Panchami puja performed by the Hindus is dedicated to snake worship. Lord Vishnu reclines on snake bed, Lord Shiva has snakes coiled around his body, Goddess Parvati, Subrahmanya and Ganesha are all shown to wear snakes. Therefore snakes have all the way enjoyed a great importance in Hinduism. In fact a cobra is considered as the very form of Goddess Parvati in South India. Nag Panchami puja is observed on Shuklapksha Panchami (the fifth day of the waxing phase of moon) in the month of Savan (July – August)..On the day of Nag Panchami, people do not prepare any fried items. Only boiled and steamed foods are prepared even for the puja. The farmers do not till the land in order to avoid any possible harm to snakes. Some people observe fasting on this day and take food only in the evening..Nag Panchami is a very important observance in Hinduism believed to bestow good health and long life upon the husbands and clear all the Nag dosh families might have. The afflictions due to the position of Rahu and Ketu in the horoscopes are removed and the candidates observing the puja are blessed with prosperity, happiness and wealth. People also get relieved of dreadful dreams with snakes and also the fear of snakes in general. Snakes are considered the friends of farmers since they prey on the rats that devour the crops. Therefore this puja also has an environmental dimension. (Credit Image: © Moniruzzaman Sazal/Pacific Press via ZUMA Wire)

  • June 22, 2017 - Bristol, Bristol, UK - Bristol, UK. ‘The Big Iftar 2017’ in St Marks Road, Easton, Bristol, marking the end of the muslim holy month of Ramadan when muslims fast from dawn until sunset. It is believed this is the first time in the UK that the event includes a meal held in the street and shared with all communities including non-muslims. It is hosted by Easton Jamia Masjid with partners including Bristol4Muslims, we care foundation, Karam Kitchen, and aims to bring people from different backgrounds and cultures together to share good food and learn from each other. Ramadan is a month of sharing, hospitality, charity giving and creating new friendships, and the Big Iftar is a great way of achieving these goals while breaking down barriers that may exist within communities. • The Vegetarian Festival, Phuket, Thailand..Phuket Island in the south of Thailand has some of the world’s finest beaches but annually in Phuket Town, a festival takes place to which few of those sun-worshippers ever venture - or even are aware of: The Vegetarian Festival...It is the dawn of the eight day of the ninth lunar month in the Chinese calendar. .A women skewers her face and she appears to feel no pain, neither does she shed any blood. In another part of the same area, a young man, staring blankly into space, as if in a trance, takes a sword and slowly pierces the side of his face. The blade of the sword passes clean through one cheek and exits out of the other side of his mouth - without bleeding...Yet there is no trickery or magic involved for this is the famous ten-day long Vegetarian Festival. The participants - penitents and devotees called Ma Song - who invite the Spirit of the Gods to possess their bodies in seemingly horrendous acts of self-mutilation are merely participating in the Chinese Song Dao ceremony, the rituals of which stretch back nearly 160 years.
