  • Drew Barrymore looks unrecognizable while filming her latest movie project "THE STAND-IN" in Manhattan's East Village area and later filming in the early morning hours of Saturday in an almost empty Times Square. "THE STAND-IN" tells the story of a disaffected comedy actress and her ambitious stand-in trading places, both played by Drew Barrymore. Candy is a washed-up movie star, busted for a tax evasion, who hires her unemployed, adoring stand-in Paula to do community service in her place. However, a weird co-dependent relationship ensues as Candy begins to use Paula as a stand- in in all parts of her life to escape from the stressful demands of fame. Eventually, Paula starts to take over Candy’s identity, career and boyfriend, finally kicking Candy out of her own house, where she is forced to survive in the real world for the first time while Paula lives the celebrity life of her dreams, until her boyfriend discovers the truth about the woman he’s sleeping with. 16 Feb 2019 Pictured: Drew Barrymore. • A "Justice For Breonna Taylor" demonstration protesting police brutality and racial inequality on September 23, 2020 in midtown Manhattan, New York City. Demonstrators are demanding further action against the Louisville, Kentucky Metro Police Department officers involved in the killing of Breonna Taylor following a Kentucky grand jury indictment of former Louisville police officer Brett Hankison who was charged today with three counts of "wanton endangerment". This protest was also in support of the Black Lives Matter movement during the worldwide coronavirus pandemic amid an atmosphere of protests, demonstrations, riots, vandalism and destruction of property in response to the death of George Floyd who died while being arrested by police officers in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 25th. Cyclists blocked automobile traffic at intersections to allow protesters to march on city streets. It appeared that a majority of the protesters wore face masks or protective face coverings.<br />

  • EXCLUSIVE: FIRST PICTURES OF ‘BUCKINGHAM PALACE’ BUILT BY TAX FRAUDSTER IN PAKISTAN These are the first pictures of a Pakistani ‘Buckingham Palace’ which now lies empty after allegedly being built by a UK fraudster. Previous aerial images of Mohammed Suleman Khan’s palatial property did not show the true extent of the jailed tax dodger’s dreams. Khan was caged in April 2014 for four years over a tax fraud of £450,000. He was sentenced to a further ten years in 2016 for refusing to pay back £2.2million. But it’s nearly 4,000 miles away in the Pakistani town of Ghorgushti, 50 miles from the capital Islamabad, Khan’s ambitions still resonate with the community, many of whom have close links to the UK. There on a two-acre site a huge construction lies mostly deserted complete with high walls and imposing turrets. According to locals in the town – known as ‘mini London’ because of its strong links to the UK – Khan allegedly bought the site for his palace around eight years ago. However, since his jailing the site has remained unfinished and become a ‘no-go area’ with around a dozen armed security guards around it. When police first investigated Khan they uncovered blueprints for a ‘Buckingham Palace’ like building in Pakistan. Plans reportedly showed a cinema, library and servants’ quarters, and private security accommodation. It was estimated the construction would have cost £2.3million, although there has been no official record of ownership. Now the luxurious surroundings of the palace appear remain but without a resident ‘Don’ as locals said Khan was known to inhabit them. One neighbor said: “If you try to get into or jump from the wall they will shoot you, they often do aerial firing at night too.” The compound is closed with wooden panels barring the front gate, it has minaret security towers on each corner, which is not unusual in such big compounds elsewhere in Pakistan. Neighbors estimated there are around 30 to 40 ro
