  • Durban. 280818. In a bid to speed up emergency response time in the province, the MEC for Health in KwaZulu-Natal handedover 100 brand new ambulances to the different districts within KZN. MEC, Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo, said for the province’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS), health service delivery in conjunction with primary healthcare and hospital services, form part of the unit’s three core pillars. Ambulances are therefore basically a crucial mobile emergency clinic whose personnel are trained to resuscitate and/or stabilise a patient using sophisticated techniques, equipment and medical drugs. Therefore the significance of this handover and how it will enhance the department’s ability to respond timeously to emergencies within the province cannot be overemphasised. An English man claiming to be the property manager called the police when Press arrived at the hours after her arrest. The four-bed, four-bath set on nearly 4,500 sq. ft. house, on 156 acres of land, is on East Washington Road was sold for $1.07 million in December last year to a company called Granite Reality LLC, a reference to New Hampshire's Granite State nickname. Public records reveal that Granite Reality LLC was set up on November 18 last year and registered to a waterfront office block in Boston. On Thursday federal prosecutors said that Maxwell had been hiding in New England since last July, when Epstein was arrested. She changed her phone number to one registered under 'G Max,' changed her email address, moved at least twice and when she ordered delivery packages had them delivered to a different name, which they did not specify. In a court document arguing that she should be refused bail, prosecutors said that she had at least 15 bank accounts which she owned or was associated with in the last four years. 02 Jul 2020 Pictured: This is the luxurious mountain top home - called Tuckedaway - outside tiny Bradford, New Hampshire, where Ghislaine Maxwell was arrested on Thursday. • It might look like something out of a sci-fi film - but cops in Dubai are set to take to the skies on these flying hoverbikes. Company Hoversurf has unveiled these ridable Scorpion-3 drones and has begun training officers to fly it. The US-start up says the devices fly at 16ft and can reach speeds of up to 60 mph. They have been approved in the US as an "ultralight" vehicle - therefore not needing a pilot's licence. The battery enables 40 minutes of flight in drone mode - but only 10 to 25 minutes with someone on board. Dubai Police have signed up to use the bikes and are set to take delivery. The Russian-made hover bikes are available for €130,000 EUROS. Makers say they could also be used for extreme sports and even commuting. The rider has manual control but safety mechanisms limit the aircraft's speed and altitude. Dubai police hope to fully introduce the eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) fleet by 2020. • EXCLUSIVE: *NO NEW YORK DAILY NEWS, NO NEW YORK TIMES, NO NEWSDAY** Anthony Weiner has gone from hard time to a Bronx halfway house after being convicted for sexting an underage girl. But even a registered sex offender’s got to eat — and The Post was there Sunday as Weiner popped outside his new Bronx digs to grab a delivery order. Wearing his signature Mets baseball cap, the 54-year-old disgraced ex-congressman — who served 15 months of a 21-month federal prison sentence for sexting with the 15-year-old — briefly exited to greet a food deliveryman ferrying his $22.50 order. He’ll serve out the next three months in the Bronx facility before being released outright in May with an accumulated three months off for good behavior. On the menu for Weiner was hearty Italian fare from Brother’s Pizza a few blocks away. He ordered a $9.50 dish of homemade lasagna and $10 penne alla vodka with grilled chicken, along with two Snapples at $1.50 apiece to wash it all down. “Hold on a second here. Hold on a second. They’re in here?” Weiner grilled the deliveryman around 2 p.m. after he was handed a large pizza box and brown paper bag with straws poking out at the door of the GEO Care Inc. facility in Fordham Heights. 18 Feb 2019 Pictured: Anthony Weiner. • The second of the formerly conjoined twin girls who was separated in a seven-hour surgery earlier this year has been discharged after spending 482 days in hospital. Hope Elizabeth Richards was allowed home last week [April 25, 2018], eight weeks after her sister Anna Grace was discharged from Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston on March 2. Her mother Jill Richards said: “This is the moment it all feels real. “We are so excited for Hope to join Anna and her brothers at home. Our family is eternally thankful for the doctors, nurses, child life specialists, physical therapists and many others at Texas Children’s who took incredible care of our precious girls.” The twins, who are now aged 16 months, were successfully separated during a mammoth surgery that involved a multidisciplinary 75-strong team of surgeons on January 13. The sisters were previously conjoined at their chest and abdomen, through the length of their torso and shared the chest wall, pericardial sac (lining of the heart), diaphragm and liver. The girls were delivered via C-section on 29 December, 2016, at 35 weeks gestation. The Richards family, from North Texas, learned Jill was carrying conjoined twins during a routine ultrasound. The family was then referred to Texas Children's Fetal Center, where they underwent extensive prenatal testing, consultation and development of plans to achieve a safe delivery and postnatal care.  They temporarily relocated to Houston in order to deliver at Texas Children’s and be close to the girls during their hospital stay. 25 Apr 2018 Pictured: CAPTION: Formerly conjoined twin girl Hope Elizabeth Richards is released from Texas Children’s Hospital on April 25, 2018, and her sister Anna Grace, who was discharged six weeks prior, was there to meet her sibling. • New mother Jade Roper unveiled her impressive 30lbs weight loss while on vacation in Florida. The Bachelor In Paradise star, who welcomed daughter Emerson in August last year [2017], is back in shape just nine months after giving birth. And the 31-year-old reality star, who has been following a diet and fitness plan, couldn’t wait to show off the results as she made a splash in a bikini by the pool and at Clearwater beach with her husband and fellow Bachelor In Paradise co-star Tanner Tolbert, who turns 31 on May 2. Jade lost the weight through diet and exercise and also with the help of meal delivery and weight-loss plan Nutrisystem. Husband Tanner joined the plan too and shed his dad bod, dropping 21lbs, after admitting he gained some sympathy weight during Jade’s pregnancy. Jade explained: “I was gentle on myself for the first 4 months after I had Emerson because I was a new mom and navigating this whole new world, but after that it was really important for me to get my pre-pregnancy body back because I wanted to feel like myself again.” During the trip last week the couple spent time playing on the beach with baby Emerson and also took her on her first trip to Disney World and the aquarium. Talking about how parenthood has changed their lives, Tanner said: “Our relationship has changed a lot since Emerson was born. “Our first couple of years together, we were best friends and lovers. But now that we’ve had Emerson, it’s changed to more of a partnership because now we have that common goal and it’s really made us a team.”  Jade added: “I’m looking forward to having more kids. “We’ve talked about having 3 or 4 kids and that’s a big family and Tanner wants a boy!” For her first Mother’s Day, Jade is excited to spend it with her mother, mother-in-law, Emerson and Tanner. • SHOPS selling bomb shelters have seen an explosion in sales in the U.S. due to the increased threat of a nuclear war with North Korea. Rising S Shelters, a company in Texas that sells and installs underground bunkers, have seen sales go up “200 per cent” in the last two weeks as the war of words between Donald Trump and despotic Kim Jung Un has reached a chilling new level. Owner Clyde Scott said: "I would say sales are up 200 per cent. So this week alone we sold eight. I normally sell about two a week, we are selling about eight a week right now. “North Korea is the only reason for the increase I've seen. Customers say they are worried Kim Jung Un has little man syndrome and Donald Trump has got to be right no matter what. “Even if he's wrong he's the kind of guy that won't back down even if it causes lots of devastation for his own people. His ego is too strong.” Rising S’s top seller is a 10ft by 50 ft steel bunker equipped with bunk beds, toilet, shower, air filtration and water heaters. They cost between $90-$120k. Clyde said: “Most people this past week are buying the bunkers that are between $90-120k dollars, that's for shelter delivery and installation.  “They've got the NBC air filtration system, which will protect you against a nuclear war, it has blast valves for explosions, it has water filtration in it. It has a solar power system which is just completely off the grid because we go into a major war like that we're going to lose all our power. "We manufacture, we deliver with our trucks and we install them with our crew. We don't use any outside contractors because of the secrecy of it. "You order one today I'll have it to you in about eight weeks.” Clyde says his customers used to be mostly right wing Christians worried the government would take away their property and guns - but since Trump got elected there has been an upturn in sales to Democrats and Hollywood celebrities. His company reportedly built a bunker for Kim and Kanye Wes

  • EXCLUSIVE: A 21-year-old woman delivered a baby with two heads and three hands, sending doctors of the state-run facility into a tizzy in central India. Babita Ahirwar, a resident of Basauda village in Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh, delivered the baby around 7:30 am on November 23 through C-section. Babita was married to Jaswant Ahirwar around one and a half years ago. The couple which was eagerly waiting to welcome their first baby was devastated after seeing the infant born with a deformity. "It was a mixed feeling when the nurses handed over the baby to me. Initially, I thought it was a twin, but when the nurses removed the towel, I was shocked to see our firstborn with two heads and three hands. All we wanted was a normal and healthy baby, but the almighty wanted to punish us this way. I don't know why," said new mom Babita told Newslions. Dr Surendra Sonkar of Vidisha Sadar hospital said: "On Saturday morning around 7:30 am, we facilitated the delivery of a baby through C-section. The baby had two heads and three hands. The third hand had two palms attached to it. "There is only one heart visible in the newborn. This is a very rare condition and this is the first time. I have come across such a case in my career," he said. "We had initially kept the baby in the ICU, but we thought it was better to refer them to a better-equipped facility in Bhopal," he added. At present, the baby is undergoing treatment at Bhopal's Hamidi Medical College and Hospital. 23 Nov 2019 Pictured: Baby born with two heads and three hands in central India.
