A religious event of high spiritual value. Starts at 09.30 c.a. in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, Calvary area. And the time of the last meeting between Jesus and his Mother before the crucifixion. The statue of Jesus, bearing the cross on his shoulders, ready Redeemer atrocious torture, he made his last journey by crossing the loving gaze and sad Mary, Our Lady of Sorrows, represented with a dagger stuck in his chest to witness the pain for the fate of his son . The statue of the Madonna is heading towards the meeting with his son at about 07.00 from the cathedral while that of Christ with the cross walks from 09:00 from the Church of San Lorenzo. Topical appointment highlight of Holy Week Bisceglie is the kiss to his mother's son. Tradition has it that the two statues, after the meeting, to continue their journey, always separated, visiting also, like many of the faithful, so-called tombs in some city churches.
