The other dog on this property was not found and it was unclear if the animal had already been picked up or not. Many of the pets rescued from the Camp Fire suffered burns and are now recovering.<br />

Archer has been working on the fire off-an-on since day one of the blaze. This Sunday he and his partner Andrew Gooderham, a retired Chico Fire and Rescue firefighter, had over 28 homes to check up on. They were told to bring all animals to the shelter since rain is expected this week and it would make it difficult to continue taking care of animals that were left in the home.
