  • EXCLUSIVE: Groups of migrant families were reunited with their children at the McAllen, Tx detention center where they have been separated from each other for over a few weeks. The families were seen being loaded into prison like buses, which had bars over covering the windows, where they unloaded and were grouped together at the local Central Station bus station. The group then walked a few blocks, with 3 Catholic Charities volenteers and one border patrol security agent, to a local Catholic Charities Humanitarian Respite Center for processing. Everyone, adult and children were seen wearing shoes without laces and a few had clear bags containing some of their belongings. The adults could also be seen wearing GPS ankle tracking monitors and holding blue GEO, (which is a company that provides enhanced in-prision offender programs).According to an inside source, the local McAllen Detention Center is full to capacity so they are having to send those families who have been reunited with their children to detention centers in other states. You can see some of the group holding folders with their bus schedules and where their final destination will be. The families will stay in their transferred locations until they are scheduled a hearing before a judge. 30 Aug 2018 Pictured: Detention Center Families. • September 5, 2017 - London, UK - London, UK. 5th September 2017. The second day of protests against the world's largest arms fair held in London's docklands, 'No Faith in War' was a series of events organised by various faith groups. Before I arrived there had been a lock-in on the approach road stopping deliveries coming to set up the fair through the East gate. This was followed by a Quaker meeting at the side of the road during which a number of people stood or sat to block the road and several who refused to move were arrested. Then four protesters descended on rope ladders from a bridge over the road, dangling in mid-air, with each pair holding a banner between them and blocking the road for around an hour and a half before police managed to remove them. Others stood in a circle and held a mass on the blocked road closer to the Excel Centre. At the West gate, more protesters gathered and stood in the road in front of lorries coming in, walking slowly until police removed them - and again made several arrests. As I left the Anglican Pacifist Fellowship was singing Peace songs and later there were to be prayers from the Midlands Peace Group and Pax Christi. • June 3, 2017 - London, UK - Maidenhead, UK. 3rd June 2017. Police surround Disabled People Against Cuts protesters blocking a main road into the town in protest in Theresa May’s constituency against the Tory government, the first in the world to be found guilty of the grave and systematic violations of disabled people's human rights by the UN and tell them they must get off the street. Paula Peters lets the police know what she thinks of them after they have threatened her with arrest to get her to move off the street. The cuts they have made since 2010 have had 9 times the impact on disabled people as on any other group, 19 times more for those with the highest support needs. DPAC say Tory polices are heartless and are starving, isolating and ultimately killing the disabled. They marched from the station to protest on the high street with a straw 'Theresa May - Weak and Wobbly' and the message 'Cuts Kill' and after a hour of protest returned calling on voters to vote for anyone but her to the station and blocked one of the busiest roads into the town for around 15 minutes. • EXCLUSIVE: Aerial view of country singer Taylor Swift's historic 5601-square foot Northumberland Estate in Nashville, Tennessee. She purchased the 1934 Greek Revival estate, worth an estimated $3 million, in June 2011. It features a 5,600-square-foot main house with four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. Out back there's a pool and a 2,000-square-foot guesthouse. The 28-year-old has a reported net worth of $280 million and huge chunk of that is parked in real estate. Swift owns more than $84 million worth of real estate across the US — eight properties in four different states, to be exact — according to estimates. As well as this country estate in Nashville, she also owns a 3,240-square-foot condo in Nashville's Music Row, which she bought at age 20. Ever the superstar, Swift also spends time in Los Angeles. She sold her Beverly Hills Cape Cod-style cottage of 2,826 square feet for $4 million earlier this year, but she still owns two more residences in the area — at least, for now. Her 2,950-square-foot Beverly Hills home is currently on the market; its value is estimated at $2.85 million. She also has an iconic 1934 Beverly Hills mansion she purchased in September 2015. It was previously home to Hollywood film producer, Samuel Goldwyn.Worth nearly $30 million, it's the most expensive piece of property in her real estate portfolio. Across the coast, Swift owns an estate with seaside views in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, valued at $6.65 million. The seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion of 12,000 square feet overlooks 700 feet of shoreline with views of Block Island Sound and Montauk Point. In 2014, Swift put her savvy real estate skills to work, purchasing two adjacent penthouses in a Tribeca building and renovating them into one large duplex penthouse of 8,309 square feet with 10 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. It features an expansive kitchen where Swift has baked with her squad, a billiards table, and a sweeping staircase, all at an estimated value of $20.5 mi

  • April 13, 2018 - London, UK. 13th April 2018. Alex Kenny, NUT/NEU. Stop the War and Syrians protest at Downing St calling for Theresea May to stop her plans to bomb Syria with the USA and France following the reports of a chemical weapon attack there. Stop the War handed in a letter signed by MPs, trade unionists and others and held a rally on the opposite side of Whitehall, with speeches from Stop the War and other activists. Noisy chanting continued and many of those present crossed the road to protest outside Downing St before blocking both carriageways of Whitehall. After some minutes police pushed the protesters on the southbound carriageway back onto the pavement where a rally led by Syrians continued. People were still sitting and blocking traffic on the other carriageway when I left, but police reinforcements had arrived and it looked as if the road would soon be cleared.
