  • Bonnie Tyler and Joe Jonas’s band DNCE performed a duet of her hit 1983 song “Total Eclipse Of The Heart” aboard one of the world’s largest cruise liners. The performance came just hours before the total solar eclipse, which left parts of North America dark as the moon eclipsed the sun on August 21. The 66-year-old Welsh singer teamed up with the American band aboard the Royal Caribbean “Total Eclipse Cruise” which sailed through the path of totality and the shadow of the moon. As the moon made its way to cover the sun for the celestial event, DNCE took center stage in “Oasis Of The Seas” open-air AquaTheater, performing the band’s chart-topping hits, including “Kissing Strangers,” “Body Moves” and “Cake by the Ocean.” The concert culminated in the ultimate performance by Tyler and DNCE, comprised of Jonas, Cole Whittle, JinJoo and Jack Lawless, as they sang a powerful remix of Tyler’s classic, paying tribute to the solar eclipse. Celebrity guests in the audience included Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell. The 7-night Total Eclipse Cruise set sail on August 20 from Orlando (Port Canaveral), Florida and will visit Eastern Caribbean destinations including Philipsburg, St. Maarten; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas;  and Nassau, Bahamas. 21 Aug 2017 Pictured: Bonnie Tyler and Joe Jonas's band DNCE performed her hit song "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" during the Great American Eclipse aboard Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas on 21 August, 2017.
