  • *PREMIUM EXCLUSIVE* A couple took every possible precaution as they went ahead with their wedding - despite the world being in the grip of the Coronavirus pandemic. The happy couple, and the pastor, all wore surgical masks as vows were exchanged at the chapel in New Orleans. The couple, Christopher and Tessa, flew in to tie the knot in Louisiana from their home in Colorado. They were wed by Rev. Tony at the 'French Quarter Wedding Chapel' and shared a masked kiss. The happy couple said they hoped the virus would only last a short while "where as our love will last forever." New Orleans has a long history with masks during mardi gras and masquerade balls although not surgical masks. The city has tshut down all bars, casinos and public gatherings of more than 50 people and police are patrolling the streets to prevent any large gatherings. 18 Mar 2020 Pictured: Tessa, Christopher. Nicole was seen wearing blue rubber gloves to avoid getting any germs on her hand and her husband Joel was seen wearing a surgical mask to avoid getting sick as well. Today was a very busy day at the happiest place on earth, so these weren't bad choices. Despite worrying about getting sick, the couple had a great time riding many of the park's rides including the Car's Radiator Springs Racers and the incredicoaster. 16 Feb 2020 Pictured: Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.
