  • ** PREMIUM EXCLUSIVE RATES APPLY ** The Eternals stars Angelina Jolie, Lia McHugh and Lauren Ridloff take a break from filming and check out the beach with their families in Fuerteventura. Angelina was dressed head to toe in black with Dior sunglasses and clutched a blanket as she walked with Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox. Child star Lia McHugh spent the walk chatting with Shiloh while Lauren Ridloff retreated to the car. The group who looked to be planning a picnic cut their beach time short after high winds scuppered their plans. Dunas de Corralejo on the North East of the Island is popular with kite surfers and wild goats can be found roaming the beach. Marvel superhero movie The Eternals is currently filming in the Canaries and is due for release November 2020. 09 Nov 2019 Pictured: The Eternals stars Angelina Jolie, Lia McHugh and Lauren Ridloff take a break from filming and check out the beach with their families in Fuerteventura. • EXCLUSIVE: SILVER SCREEN - MEET THE HUSBAND AND WIFE COUPLE WHO RETIRED AND DECIDED TO BECOME MOVIE STARS WITH PIX By Magnus News Agency Meet the husband and wife who decided when they retired to try something new in life - so they became MOVIE STARS. Gilbert Newton, 73, and wife Joy, 63, have been married since 1978 but never once imagined they’d be rubbing shoulders with Hollywood greats in their golden years. The couple have worked on nearly 100 films, TV shows, commercials and promotions since signing up to become extras. Far from slowing down, now one or the other of the pair is usually working on something seven days a week and they can be up at 4am to travel to location for filming. Gilbert, a former sales executive, and Joy, a former teacher, from London, say they both love their new jobs so much they don’t have any time for the usual hobbies of retirement. Gilbert has appeared on screen in films such as Genius, Florence Foster Jenkins and Kingsman: The Golden Circle and Joy has graced screens on the biggest show on earth appearing in American football Super Bowl advert in 2017. Gilbert said: “The first film I went for was Genius with Colin Firth and Jude Law. The agent gave me the details and booked me there and I arrived. “It’s was a completely new experience and nothing like I’d done before, but people were very nice, I’ve worked with nice people in the past but in a different industry, and with the extra work everyone is nice to you and saying you look good on screen and that sort of thing. “And I was featured in the film, I didn’t realise at first, but this was my first film and I got some screen time. “Jude Law and Colin Firth were the actors on the day, we stand pretty close to each other in a lot of the scenes. We’re not supposed to go up and speak to the actors because they’ve got things going on in their head and they don’t want to be distracted. “It was in a nightclub supposed to be in New York, but it was in London som

  • The Night King from Game Of Thrones was dramatically killed off at the hands of Arya Stark on Sunday’s epic episode. But the man behind the prosthetic mask — Slovakia born stuntman Vladimir Furdik — is now showing his softer side, by doing paid-for birthday shoutouts and personalized videos for fans on a new celebrity app called Cameo. For $100, die-hard fans can get Furdik, 48, to record them a personal video message, mentioning their name or even wishing them happy birthday. As this collection of videos show, the Night King certainly has his endearing, friendly side when not clad in scary prosthetics and with those piercing icy-blue eyes. Furdik reprised the role of Night King in Game Of Thrones in season six, through to the current and last eighth season; the role was previously portrayed by British-American character actor Richard Brake in the fourth and fifth seasons. Furdik also has a slew of other blockbuster credits under his belt, having done stunt work on the likes of Snow White And The Huntsman, Skyfall, Spartacus and Thor. He joined the Cameo app in February of this year, initially charged $55 per video, but almost doubled his fee to $100 on April 12, just two days before the hotly anticipated Game Of Thrones season finale premiere episode. Cameo is a Chicago-based app which launched in 2016 and now has more than 3,500 celebs — from musicians and actors to reality stars — on its books. Celebrities set their own price for making a video, and take the lion’s share of the fee with a 75 per cent cut, the remainder going to Cameo. Customers then have the completed video sent to them directly to keep. TEASE: For $100, die-hard fans can get Furdik, 48, to record them a personal video message, mentioning their name or even wishing them happy birthday. 02 May 2019 Pictured: Game Of Thrones Night King actor Vladimir Furdik appears in a series of videos on Cameo, a celebrity app where stars do personal shout outs to die-hard fans.
