  • These incredible photos show the San Alfonso del Mar resort in Chile — home to the second largest swimming pool in the world. The outdoor pool is located halfway up the country’s Pacific Coast in the city of Algarrobo and is filled with a staggering 66 million gallons of crystal clear seawater. Spanning an area of 20 acres — and equivalent in size to 6,000 average size home swimming pools — the San Alfonso pool, designed by water innovation company Crystal Lagoons, was until recently the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest swimming pool. But in December 2015 a sister project by Crystal Lagoons in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt, took over the title with the completion of a 30 acre pool, the first phase of plans for a total of 12 lagoons that will span 250 acres and the centerpiece of the USD $5.5 billion, 1,8500-acre Citystars project with residential apartments, hotels and shopping. Still, Sharm el Sheikh’s older sister pool in Chile, at 3,323ft long with a maximum depth of 11.5ft, is still quite the sight to behold and will turn 11-years-old next month, after opening back in December 2006. The San Alfonso pool, situated right next to the Pacific Ocean, uses a computer-controlled filtration system to suck water from the sea at one end and pump it back out at the other. The sun warms the pool to 26 degrees Celsius (79 degrees Fahrenheit) — nine degrees Celsius (48 degrees Fahrenheit) warmer than the ocean. And being the size it is, swimming it not the only thing on the agenda — the gigantic size makes it possible to sail boats and carry out all kinds of fun water sports activities. 14 Nov 2017 Pictured: The San Alfonso del Mar resort in Algarrobo, Chile — home to the second largest swimming pool in the world. • Welcome to the world’s most expensive hotel suite — a stunning two-storey palace in the sky overlooking the Las Vegas strip, costing $100,000-a-night. The Palms has just unveiled the jewel in the crown of its ongoing $690million refurbishment of the casino resort — the Empathy Suite, a Sky Villa designed by and featuring the works of world-renowned English artist Damien Hirst, aged 53. The Empathy Suite sprawls over 9,000 square-feet and two floor and features a butterfly-motif mosaic tiled pool overlooking the strip, a vast collection of art including any original works by Hirst, a 13-seat curved glass bar top encrusting medical waste art, along with two lounge and theater areas that accommodate up to 52 guests. There’s also Hirst-desined furniture, drapery, carpeting and serpentine-shaped Italian leather sofas with the butterfly motif. Above the centre bar is Hirst’s Here for a Good Time, Not a Long Time (2018) art piece – a marlin skeleton in a vitrine and taxidermy marlin in another. The opulent dining area seats eight people, while both master bedrooms come complete with California-King beds, massive closets and bathrooms with double sinks and theatrical lighting. The villa also boasts a powder room, a salt healing room, a fitness center and two massage rooms, while the outdoor area features a pool and panoramic views of Sin City. A stay at the suite — which is reserved for millionaire high-roller gamblers, also involves a highly personalised and exclusive guest experience while at the property, including 24-hour butler service, over-the-top welcome amenities and a private behind-the-scenes art tour of the suite and entire property. There’s also a chauffeured car service throughout the stay and A-list access to Palms’ premier amenities such as KAOS Dayclub & Nightclub, the Pearl Concert Theater and the Palms’ world-class recording studio and a $10,000 credit to use at the resort. • David and Victoria Beckham and their brood are living it up in a $6,500-a-night hotel after escaping the deadly Bali earthquake zone. The family had been enjoying a luxury retreat in Bali, but following an earthquake in the neighboring island of Lombok last week that left at least 321 dead, the football ace decided to evacuate his family 450 miles away from the disaster zone to a private island of Sumba near Indonesia. David and Victoria along with their children Brooklyn, 19, Romeo 15, Cruz 12, and Harper, 7, arrived at the Nihi resort on Sunday, according to media reports, and are staying in a stunning four-bedroom villa complete with its own pool, which goes for $6,500-a-night. But according to reports, the hotel — which has twice been voted the best hotel in the world by travel writers — is putting the Beckhams up for free. The family arrived to the island on Sunday and are said to have flown in by private jet before being whisked off to the Nihi resort in a SUV. As these photos shows, the stunning resort is the picture-perfect paradise and is located close to one of the region’s best surfing beaches. The resort boasts 27 villas and 38 rooms ranging in size, with all accommodations having a private pool, and the hotel is set on a 2.5km stretch of private beach and surrounded by lush greenery. The hotels asks guests who visit the local villages to wear appropriate clothing, including a sarong — so David should fee right at home — and a T-shirt that covers the shoulders. David and the boys have reportedly enjoyed surfing during their stay, while former Spice Girls Victoria and Harper have been pampered in the hotel’s spa. 13 Aug 2018 Pictured: David Beckham and his family are staying at the ultra luxurious Nihi resort on the private island of Sumba near Indonesia after escaping the Bali earthquake zone. • EXCLUSIVE: ARE YOU SWAY-ED BY THIS UNIQUE HOUSE FOR SALE - INCREDIBLE HOME INSIDE A 220-FOOT TOWER COULD BE YOURS FOR £10 By Magnus News Agency Buyers are being offered one last chance to own a unique 220-foot-high Victorian folly before it is offered as a prize in a competition for just £10 a ticket. Sway Tower, in Hampshire, sits resplendent above the village of the same name with commanding views of the English countryside and south coast. The 1880s intricately designed concrete monolith has been in the family of businessman and entrepreneur Paul Atlas and his family for the past 45 years. But now the property, which comes complete with a 60-foot swimming pool and telecommunications income of £35,000 plus a year, is on the market in a once-in-a-lifetime sale. Grandfather-of-four Paul has lived in the 14-floor tower since 1995 with Julie raising their two children. Since they bought it in 1973 for £2,600 the Atlas’s have been busy renovating the structure ensuring that what stands now will last for generations to come. In the mid-90s, with the backing of the local authority and heritage charities, Paul and a team of tradesmen renovated the structure after the storm of 1987 hit the south coast. Over the years the Atlas family has used the tower for a variety of uses; from a very elaborate ‘shed’ when it was first purchased, to a restaurant, hotel and finally to a one-of-a-kind multi-million-pound home. However, if a buyer cannot be found within 45 days, the owners will commence the process of offering the tower as prize with competition property experts WinThis.life Paul, 71, said the tower is anything but an ordinary home and nowadays he restricts climbing the 330 steps to the top to once a month. He said offering the chance for someone to own the tower for the price of a raffle ticket was an incredible opportunity as the place is ready to go needing no work by any new owner. • Taraji P. Henson looked a complete knockout as she lived it up during a romantic Valentine’s weekend with her fiancé Kelvin Hayden. The 49-year-old actress slipped into a daring black bejeweled swimsuit and enjoyed some quality time with Kelvin — who she is set to wed on April 4 — at Nobu Hotel Los Cabos. The lovebirds took a break from freezing cold Chicago where she is shooting the spin-off to her hit show Empire.   The Oscar-winning actress and retired NFL player arrived at their private ocean view suite where they were welcomed with a Nobu signature cocktail and specially prepared dessert to celebrate the Valentine’s Day weekend. The couple kicked off their lovers’ escape with a romantic boat tour of the famous Cabo San Lucas Arch where they  dined on lobster, oysters and chocolate covered strawberries as they toasted to their upcoming nuptials. After their sunset cruise, the two enjoyed a candlelit dinner at Nobu Restaurant where they dined on signature dishes such as Salmon tartare with caviar, Octopus Tiradito, Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna, miso black cod and yellowtail sashimi to name a few. Taraji took to her Instagram to show off  her heart shaped strawberry that she fed to her fiancé. The next day the loving couple started their morning with freshly prepared breakfast from Malibu Farm before retreating to the adults only infinity pool. The duo spent the day lounging by the pool with friends and graciously taking photos with fans. Generous Taraji even bought the whole pool a round of cocktails. In the early afternoon they headed to Esencia Spa where they took advantage of the outdoor hydrotherapy garden, experiential shower, cabana jacuzzi and hydrotherapy pool before they went in for their couple’s massage and facials. Kelvin was also spotted working out of the state-of-the-art gym while Taraji was snapping pictures to commemorate her first time at Nobu Hotel Los Cabos. Nobu Restaurant pulled out all the stops for their next dinner date w

The love-struck couple, who exchanged vows in front of 200 guests in Rhode Island last week, are currently enjoying a getaway in Italy and Greece, staying in three different properties available on booking.com; Casa Angelina and Capri Palace in Italy and the West East Suites in Greece. Ashley, who met Jared on Bachelor In Paradise, said of the trip: ‘Jared and I are lazy travelers. A perfect vacation to us is great food, a gorgeous property and a beautiful view to awe over, especially at sunset. ‘We booked our entire trip through Booking.com and the site made it really easy to preview the experiences to come.’ Sitting on the high cliffs of the Amalfi Coast, Casa Angelina offers beautiful modern minimalism rooms with views overlooking the Mediterranean. Guests can unwind in the panoramic outdoor pool set on one of the property’s terraces, relax at the spa or dine at the gourmet restaurant servicing Mediterranean cuisine. Ashley and Jared stayed at the property from August 13 – August 17 in a former fisherman’s house on the property located next to La Gavitella beach, which is accessed via the hotel’s lift plus 200 steps. The couple enjoyed dinner on their private deck and looking out at the sunset along the water. Ashley and Jared then made their way to Capri where they spent four days at the Capri Palace. The property offers an outdoor mosaic swimming pool, a wellness center, a private collection of painting and sculptures and is located just 1,650 feet from the shores of Anacapri. Ashley and Jared dined at the property’s 2 Michelin star Mediterranean restaurant, which is the first Michelin star restaurant the couple has been to.
