  • South Africa  - Johannesburg -  Olievenhoutbosch relief program business opportunity. Following a reported 3 km queue for food relief hampers in Olieven as it is affectionately known by the people of ext 21, of this Midrand Township new opportunities presented themselves and the youth of the area are grabbing them. When people receive the Covid-19 food parcels provided by various organisations, the recipients are often overwhelmed by the size of the hamper and cannot carry it home. Four youth from the area saw the need and gathered a group of 30 youngsters with wheelbarrows to render a service of delivering the parcels at a cost of up to R30 depending on distance.  They call themselves the Wheelbarrow association and operating from the Steve Tshwete Secondary school they accompany the beneficiary home to deliver the parcel containing 12.5kg  Maze meal. 10kg rice, 10kg flower, 10 Kg mielie rice and other groceries.   <br />

  • South Africa – Pretoria - 14 May 2020 - The Lion whisperer. Kevin Richardson who has shown interest in wild life since a young age is affectionately known as the Lion whisperer. He takes his lions for a walk during stage 4 of the lockdown. Richardson generates an income to take care of the lions from gate takings to the sanctuary and volunteers who pay to work there. Due to lockdown the sanctuary is closed and there is no income. There are 23 lions, several leopards, some hyena and buck on the sanctuary. Magistrate Deon  Van Rooyen handed down his verdict in the bail hearing in the much anticipated murder case of Senekal farm manager Brandin Horner.  Accuse no 1 = Sekwetje Mahlamba (32) was denied bail but accused no 2 Sekola Matlaletsa (44) was granted bail at R5000. The next appearance is on 01 December 2020. Some looters are still stripping metal but the main attack is done.   • South Africa – Johannesburg – 31 August 2020 - Two police officers ( Srg SS Ndyalvane and Const C Whiteboy) appear in the Protea magistrates court for the shooting and killing of a 16 year old down syndrome boy fondly known as Locky.  Nathaniel Julies was shot in the chest last week sparking protest violence in Eldorado Park. The  pair was fully covered in clothing to hide their identities as they stood in the dock and sail very little.
