  • May 4, 2018 - Journalists covering the Great March of Return demonstrations east of Khan Yunis, near the Gaza Strip border with Israel, are directly targeted by tear gas canisters fired by the Israeli army. In spite of wearing clothes clearly marked with the word PRESS, which identify them as journalists and camera operators, Palestinian journalists have been deliberately targeted by Israeli snipers since the beginning of the Great March of Return protests. The Great March of Return is a series of mass protests along the Israel-Gaza border which began on March 30th to call for right to return for Palestinian refugees and their descendants to their ancestral lands in what is now Israel, and to demand the lift of the Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip (Credit Image: © Ahmad Hasaballah/IMAGESLIVE via ZUMA Wire)

  • April 13, 2018 - London, UK. 13th September 2018. A vigil on the South Bank of the River Thames on Palestinian Prisoners Day highlights the plight of the roughly 6,500 Palestinians currently in Israeli jails, around 350 of them children. The protesters included several Palestinians and were joined by an anti-zionist ultra-orthodox Jew. Their display included an actual size drawing of an Israeli underground prison cell in which children are held in isolation. The protesters handed out leaflets and talked with those walking by, and speeches gave facts about the prisoners. In two months this year alone 1319 were imprisoned, including 274 children, 23 women and four journalists. Over 500 of these prisoners are currently held indefinitely without charge or trial under administrative detention orders. Physical torture during interrogation is standard practice, even for children, and many are sexually abused; since 1967, 72 prisoners have been tortured to death. As a part of the Israeli 'apartheid' system, Palestinians are not tried by the Israeli civil courts but by military tribunals with a 99.74% conviction rate. Since 1967, roughly 1 in 5 of the entire Palestinian population have been held in prison at some time. The protest, organised by Inminds human rights group, called for a boycott of Israeli goods and of companies including HP who are complicit by supplying the IT infrastructure which runs the Israeli prisons and torture dens. • **PREMIUM EXCLUSIVE** Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein’s former right hand woman, tucks into burger and fries at a fast-food joint in Los Angeles. Maxwell, 57, the alleged madam to the multi-millionaire paedophile, was spotted with shake al fresco at an In-N-Out Burger on Monday Aug 12 while reading “The Book of Honor: The Secret Lives and Deaths of CIA Operatives,” a nonfiction best seller by journalist Ted Gup. Sitting alone with her pet dog, she was surprised to be found and told a member of the public who immediately recognised her, and took the amazing photographs , “Well, I guess this is the last time I’ll be eating here!” Maxwell, accused in court papers of providing sex slaves for Epstein and engaging in threesomes with the financier and underage girls, had not been photographed in public since 2016. The daughter of the late, disgraced publishing tycoon Robert Maxwell has not been charged with any crimes but could find herself in the feds’ crosshairs following Epstein’s apparent jailhouse suicide Saturday. One of Epstein’s accusers, Jennifer Araoz, on Wednesday sued his estate, as well as Maxwell and three unidentified women for conspiring “to make possible and otherwise facilitate the sexual abuse and rape of [Araoz].” It’s not the first time Maxwell has been accused of luring young women and girls into the convicted pedophile’s web. Another accuser, Virginia Giuffre — who has said she had sex with England’s Prince Andrew and noted attorney Alan Dershowitz at Epstein’s command — sued the socialite for defamation in 2015 after Maxwell publicly stated Giuffre was lying about being sexually abused by Epstein. Giuffre claimed Maxwell recruited her when she was a 16-year-old spa attendant at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Fla., and trained her to be Epstein’s sex slave. Maxwell has denied the allegations. A recently unsealed trove of documents from Giuffre’s lawsuit, which was settled out of court, ch
