  • A New York steakhouse is hosting the most expensive Super Bowl dinner party in history — with a staggering $152,000 price tag. For the exclusive few who can stomach the price, the sumptuous feast will be held on Super Bowl Sunday [4 February, 2018] at the Old Homestead Steakhouse in New York’s Meatpacking District. The hefty price buys a luxurious dinner buffet for 10 people, who will watch the Philadelphia Eagles take on the New England Patriots on a private floor of the restaurant, while dining on some of the world’s most expensive food and alcohol. There are also some non-edible amenities included as part of the package, such as four tickets to next year’s Super Bowl LIII, a Tom Brady autographed helmet and a football signed by the victors of this year’s game. The food spread includes all manner of decadent morsels. At kick-off, almost $5,000-worth of imported Japanese Prized Wagyu beef will be served to the party and carved to order — a 20lb slab at $450/lb. “You and your pals will be doing an end zone dance before the first touchdown is scored,” said Old Homestead co-owner and chef Marc Sherry, who explained that guests will be picked up in a limousine and driven to the restaurant as part of the experience. Next comes chicken wings — served six different ways — including ones that have been marinated in the juice of oranges costing $75 each and a $1,800/bottle Gran Marnier. Other mouthwatering menu items are: Pigskins in blanket made from imported Japanese $425/lb black pork; French dip sandwiches shaped like footballs and served up with thinly sliced steamship roast and melted cheese, imported from Italy at a cost of $250/lb with each loaf of bread costing an impressive $150; chili made with chunks of USDA prime dry-aged sirloin steak; a version of salsa and chips - homemade toasted rounds with slices of $450/lb imported Japanese Prized Wagyu beef, topped with a cheese sauce made with $200/lb cheese imported from Switzerland, and homemade s

  • EXCLUSIVE: A THIRD lion pride has been brutally butchered in a MONTH in South Africa by evil poachers who hacked off their heads and paws and stole them to be used to make black magic potions. Distraught owner Menno Parsons, 46, was broken the news that his male lion Tau, 10, and four lionesses had been fed chicken carcasses laced with poison causing them an agonising death. Menno - one of the top air display pilots in South Africa - owns Sunward Ranch which provided lion experiences for underprivileged children near the town of Brits in Limpopo Province. On Tuesday night a gang of poachers threw poisoned chickens over the two electrified fences and waited for the predators to eat them and suffer for up to 30 minutes until all his five lions were dead. Then they cut their way through the fences and using machetes hacked off the heads or jaws of the majestic lions to steal their teeth and hacked off 20 paws and stole them for use in “muti”. Traditional witch doctors or healers use the body parts to make potions known as "muti" for local customers or the body parts are smuggled to the Far East and sold for vast amounts to dealers. Divorced father-of-three Menno said : “When you get the phone call telling you that your lions have not just been killed by poachers but have been butchered I tell you nothing prepares you. “I fly helicopters on anti-poaching patrols and go after poachers who are on the run to help out the police and security agencies but you never actually expect it is going to happen to you. “I have looked after lions for 10 years and they are like a family to me. I am not afraid of these poachers and I have got guys with me and we will be going out there looking for them” he said. Along with head of the pride Tau, 10, his four lionesses were killed sisters Tana and Jade, both 5, and Zuri and Nala, both 3. The animal park owner also flies a World War 2 P51 mustang and a Douglas DC3 airline and two Huey helicopters and is one of the most popular

  • *PREMIUM EXCLUSIVE* Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are thrown from an exploding building as they shoot an action scene together for the first time for their new Netflix movie 'Power'. Foxx could be seen with blood on his had as he was being dragged out of a building by Joseph Gordon-Levitt who plays a cop. In this scene, there is a huge explosion which rocks the building causing the two to go flying and hit the ground. In one shot, a severed limb could be seen dangling above Josephs head before dropping to the ground. Gordon-Levitt's character could be seen wearing an NFL "Saints' shirt with number 37 'Gleason'. this was a salute to former New Orleans Saints Safety player Steve Gleason. Gleason is especially well known for his blocked punt in a 2006 game that became a symbol of recovery in New Orleans in the team's first home game after Hurricane Katrina. In 2011, he revealed that he was battling amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease. His experiences while living with the disease were captured on video over the course of a five-year period and are featured in the 2016 documentary, Gleason. The movie has been kept under wraps with very little information leaked. It is however thought to be a sci-fi movie about a drug epidemic that gives people a range of superpowers. The protagonist is believed to be a teenage actress who finds herself dealing the drug to help care for her family. Sources say Foxx will play a family man who has suffered a great loss and is desperate to trace the drug’s supply line and find its designer. Joseph Gordon-Levitt also stars along side Foxx and is said to play a beat cop who takes law enforcement matters into his own hands. 25 Oct 2018 Pictured: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jamie Foxx, Dominique Fishback. • A special chicken lunch is served by the Parkwood Community Upliftment (PCU) project, in Parkwood, Cape Town, South Africa, on Sunday, May 31, 2020. The youth organization, which normally feeds children as part of an after-school care program, has been feeding children and the elderly, and many other hungry people, in this poverty-stricken area in the Cape Flats since lockdown started more than two months ago. As the nation moves down to Level 3, on June 1st, CPU founder Max Amansure says the organization will continue to feed people. Often it's "only" bread as the organization doesn't have any regular funding. However, as the area has been hard hit by COVID-19, Amansure says he wishes Parkwood could have remained on Level 5 Lockdown. PHOTO: EVA-LOTTA JANSSON

  • EXCLUSIVE: WEB EMBARGO UNTIL 1am PST ON Nov 3 Chris Hemsworth’s stunt double has given an exclusive behind the scenes look at his time on the set of Thor: Ragnarok to coincide with the release of the Marvel blockbuster. Opening up his personal photo diary taken while on location in Australia’s Gold Coast, British-born stunt master Bobby Holland Hanton talks long days on set with Hemsworth and how he’s become the Aussie star’s go-to stuntman and good friend having worked together for the past six years. Bobby, 33, also revealed one of his rigorous training sessions at his local London gym — where the former gymnast put on an impressive stunt routine including back flips and somersaults — before he headed out to Atlanta in September to start filming the fourth Avengers movie, where he will again double for Hemsworth as Thor. And judging by Bobby’s rippling six-pack and bulging biceps, the rigorous regime he has to endure to match up to the God Of Thunder has paid off. But by his own admission, keeping up with 34-year-old Chris is no easy feat. Bobby explained: “He’s in ridiculous shape - Chris is very athletic and naturally has a lot of lean muscle mass. He’s bigger than me and I have to work hard to keep up with him. “Before we start filming a movie together, we’re in touch regularly so I can see where he’s at and so I can maintain the same shape as him.” Bobby’s strict fitness plan includes working out twice a day, six days a week for between 45 minutes to 90 minutes, curling 27kg dumbbells to pump up his arms and eating eight monster-size meal every day. Of course, the types of foods he can eat are strictly regulated to those that are high in protein (lots of chicken, turkey, steaks and eggs) and only “good carbs” (brown rice, quinoa, sweet potatoes) and “good fats” (avocado, olive oil and natural nuts). And eating like Thor sure gives his wallet a bit of a hammering. “I spend around £250 a week on food, just for me” expla
