  • May 4, 2018 - Violent clashes erupt on the east of Gaza’s southern city of Khan Yunis during the “Great March of Return” protest for the sixth consecutive Friday. Palestinian protesters hurled stones towards Israeli forces during the clashes near the Gaza-Israeli border fence. A number of Palestinian protestors were injured by the live ammunition, rubber bullets, and tear gas fired at them the Israeli Security Forces. Palestinians demonstrators also burnt tyres near the border to obscure the view of heavily armed Israeli troops and block sniper fire. Palestinian demonstrators have gathered at five sites along the Gaza-Israeli border fence for the Great March of Return 6th consecutive Friday, and according to the Israeli military argued that protesters flied kites with flammable material into Israel and that the Israeli forces only fired at Palestinians attempting to breach the fence.   • November 2, 2018 - Palestinian protesters clash with the Israeli army near the fence in the “Abu Safiya” area east of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip during the Great March of Return rally on 2th November 2018. Thousands of demonstrators attended several sites along the Gaza border with Israel this Friday, with some advancing and hurling stones towards the fence, and according to the Gaza Health Ministry a number of protesters were injured by Israeli live fire and tear gas. The March has taken place while Egyptian mediators are working to lower tension along the Gaza-Israeli frontier after months of protests and deadly clashes. Since March 2018 thousands of Gaza demonstrators have gathered every Friday along the border in protest against the Israeli siege on Gaza and in support of the right of Palestinian refugees to return the land lost around the founding of Israel in 1948. Paramedics attend injured Palestinian demonstrators during clashes with Israeli soldiers in Abu Safiya, east of the town of Jabaliya in the northern Gaza Strip, during this week Great March of Return and Land Day anniversary protest. Thousands of Palestinians had gathered alongside the eastern border of the Gaza Strip to take part in the weekly protest to break the ongoing Israeli siege but also to mark Land Day and the first anniversary of the Great March of Return.  According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, Adham Nedal Amara, 17, was killed, and dozens of protesters were injured by Israeli troops who had fired live bullets and rubber-coated steel bullets at the them. The National Committee for Breaking the Siege had called for a comprehensive strike in the Gaza strip for the occasion and had deployed hundreds of volunteers for the safety of protesters. Since the Great Marches started in March 30th 2018, more than 250 Palestinians have been killed and over 23,000 have been injured by the Israeli army. A number of Palestinian demonstrators are injured in clashes with the Israeli army in the Malika district on the east of Gaza City during this Friday 51st Great March of Return rally. Thousands of demonstrators had gathered at several points on the Gaza-Israeli borders with some hurling rocks and burning tires, and with Israeli troops firing live ammunition, rubber-coated steel bullets, and tear gas at protesters. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, 30 Palestinians were shot and injured by Israeli live fire, while dozens of others suffered from tear-gas inhalation. The Israeli military stated that troops had responded with “riot dispersal means” and fired in accordance to standard operating procedures. ''The Great March of Return'' protests began on March 30th last year with thousands of Gazans demonstrating at least weekly in an attempt to break the ongoing Israeli siege on Gaza and to demand the right of Palestinian refugees to return to their original homeland, now in present-day Israel.   • July 6, 2018 - A number of Palestinians demonstrators are injured during clashes with Israeli soldiers along the Gaza-Israeli border on the east of Gaza City, as the Great March of Return protests continue for the 15th Friday.  Dozens of Palestinian protesters gathered on the east of Gaza City burning tires and waving Palestinian flags with the Israeli soldiers firing gunshots and tear gas canisters to disperse the demonstrators, who replied with hurling stones at them. According to the Israeli authorities Palestinians released flammable kites into Israel causing fires to fields near the border. Since March 30th Gazans have held weekly Friday rallies defying the risks and since then at least 136 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 15 thousands injured by the Israeli army.
