  • May 4, 2019 - Greding, Bavaria, Germany - Lawyer Dubravko Mandic looking at the camera outside of an event by the extreme-right flank of the AfD called ''der Fluegel''. Mandic is now the subject of national attention for aggressively approaching journalists and filing criminal complaints against them. Die right-extremist flank of the Alternative for Germany party known as “der Fluegel” (“The Wing”) appeared in Greding, near Nuremburg in Bavaria. Appearing with the group was Bjoern Hoecke, Benjamin Nolte, Bernhard Zimniok and Christina Baum. Due to connections to the right-extremist spectrum and efforts against democracy, the Office for the Protection of the Constitution (Verfassungsschutz, Secret Service) escalated the group to preliminary monitoring ahead of possible formal monitoring. Participants, including right-radical Dubravko Mandic of the AfD in Freiburg aggressively approached and harassed journalists on the scene, with him taking the phone away of one. Later, after calls to take the cameras from journalists, two attacked a journalist. Mandic has posted about “the great exchange” referencing such theories by white supremacists who committed shootings, such as in Christ Church. (Credit Image: © Sachelle Babbar/ZUMA Wire)

  • Amber Rose has launched her own collection of cannabis vaping pens. The 34-year-old model and ex of Kanye West looks stunning in the campaign imagery, posing in a daring cropped top next to a swimming pool. With a bottle of cola in one hand and her KandyPen in the other, Amber paints the perfect picture of a lazy day “baking” by the pool. The luxury smoking accessory, which comes in champagne/gold and champagne/white colors, retails for $148. Vaporizer company Kandy Pens said it was the company’s latest step towards “bringing the cannabis industry into the mainstream”. In the U.S. cannabis is recreationally legal in nine states and Washington DC — and is legal medically in 29 states — for adults over the age of 21. The company added that the the collaboration with Amber Rose is the “biggest endorsement deal to date in the cannabis industry”. Speaking of the collaboration, Amber said: “I want it to feel like a celebration when they inhale. I want the pen to not only represent my fans, but to be inclusive, so that anyone coming across my pen will resonate with it.” The Amber Rose Collection features the first all quartz bucket and quartz coil, which KandyPens says “yields a super smooth vapor”. A former cigarette smoker who is now an anti-smoking advocate, Amber said she chose to partner with KandyPens because she feels that their vaporizers are, “a much cleaner alternative and they are the best in the business”. Each Amber Rose Collection pen is handmade, features four temperature modes, and comes in a champagne leather case with gold trim. The cannabis industry set to grow to over $50 billion this year, according to KandyPens. 28 Jun 2018 Pictured: Amber Rose poses in campaign imagery for her new line of Amber Rose KandyPens — a vaporizing cannabis pen. On a Saturday morning in the Schwabing area of Munich the AfD held a demonstration/information stand. In protest, numerous children arrived to stand up against the far-right, anti-democratic politics of the AfD, whose Bavarian head, Petr Bystron, was recently revealed to be under Verfassungsschutz (secret service) monitoring due to his support for and activities with far- to radical-right extremist groups (Credit Image: © Sachelle Babbar via ZUMA Wire)

  • June 19, 2017 - Munich, Germany - Two youth protestors. The far- to radical-right and populist AfD party and speaker Wolfgang Wiehle held a rally at Munich’s Schweizer Platz, which drew approximately 75 supporters, many from the Pegida-Munich circles, as well as several in neo-nazi circles. Approximately 50 peaceful counter-demonstrators organized by the SPD party and Muenchen ist Bunt group were also in attendance. Only one altercation arose when a member of the public and NOT part of the demonstrators approached the stage and created a minor disturbance. The theme of the speech was “Buerger an der Macht” (“Power to the People”) and Schweizer Platz was chosen as a tie-in to the AfD’s concept of using the Swiss example to handle immigration and foreigners.
