Mayor of Nijmegen Hubert Bruls unveiled a plaque with an honorary list of the fallen soldiers of the Second World War on Plein 1944 square. After that, the commemorations took place at the ''Kitty de Wijze'', a monument that it has become the symbol of the Jewish in Nijmegen who were deported and never come back. Then from St. Stephen's Church a silent procession took the streets to the ''Keizer Traianusplein'', where two  monuments in remember of the victims of the WWII stand up. The official ceremony started with two minutes of silence, after that, Mayor of Nijmegen Hubert Bruls, gave a speech remembering the victims and the facts happened during the war. The Netherlands is the only country in Europe that commemorates the victims of the Second World War and celebrates its liberation on two separate but consecutive days. Saiful Islam, a Bangladeshi entrepreneur and a big fan of Trump, founded the cafe and decided to use the President’s name for his coffee shop in Dhaka. Bringing his idea to fruition was not easy. Saiful had to prove to the authorities that he was the real owner of the business and the President had nothing to do with it. The ‘Trump Cafe’ offers Chinese, Indian and Thai cuisine and other fast food items on its menu. “I did not start the business with any specific thought in mind, just the fact that I am a big fan of US President Donald Trump,” Saiful was quoted as saying..Along with other regular favorites, the cafe also serves some food items inspired by Trump such as the special Trump Cocktail or the Green Apple Mocktail. “My uncle, Kabir Ali, is the manager at a Trump-owned restaurant in the US. It was initially his idea to start a restaurant, and since I am a big fan as well, I wanted to get involved in the venture,” said Saiful. Even though Trump remains unaware of the existence of the restaurant and bears no connection to it, Saiful is happy to be a part of the restaurant named after Trump, the report said..“Many people think he is a joke, but he is an inspiration for me. If you look at his business ventures, you will see that he is quite successful and shrewd at doing business. That is what inspires me,” Saiful said. One of the attractions of the cafe is a Trump cutout that people can take pictures with.Even the cafe’s wifi password is named after a Trump family member, the report said. Since they bought it in 1973 for £2,600 the Atlas’s have been busy renovating the structure ensuring that what stands now will last for generations to come. In the mid-90s, with the backing of the local authority and heritage charities, Paul and a team of tradesmen renovated the structure after the storm of 1987 hit the south coast. Over the years the Atlas family has used the tower for a variety of uses; from a very elaborate ‘shed’ when it was first purchased, to a restaurant, hotel and finally to a one-of-a-kind multi-million-pound home. Some people observe fasting on this day and take food only in the evening..Nag Panchami is a very important observance in Hinduism believed to bestow good health and long life upon the husbands and clear all the Nag dosh families might have. The afflictions due to the position of Rahu and Ketu in the horoscopes are removed and the candidates observing the puja are blessed with prosperity, happiness and wealth.   • October 3, 2017 - Seattle, Etats-Unis - Diners at one of America’s most iconic buildings will need an appetite for heights.A glass floor is to be installed in the restaurant on top of the 500 foot / 152 metre high Space Needle tower in Seattle, Washington State.Locally based architecture company Olson Kundig was chosen to oversee the preservation and design modifications on the tower which opened in 1962.The project was proposed to both modernize and preserve the existing design. The $100 million USD construction includes improvement to the restaurant, as well as a viewing platform with glass benches that extend to the edge of the deck’s glass wall. It will give the impression there is nothing between visitors and the building edge.The Space Needle has defined Seattle’s skyline since it opened but like many structures in middle age, the 55-year-old tower and observation deck is in need of some cosmetic surgery.The renovation also involves replacing aging mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; redesigning the interior and exterior observation decks and revolving restaurant and improving circulation throughout the structure.Olson Kundig partner Alan Maskin who helped design the renovations said: “From a distance, it will appear as if the Space Needle is unchanged, but in fact, it will have changed significant.The Space Needle was originally inspired by a telecommunications tower in Stuttgart, Germany. The building’s purpose was to offer visitors a bird’s eye view of a growing metropolis and express the most advanced architectural engineering.Over the decades, walls and security cages were added to the structure, impeding views. Thousands of people marched through downtown Minneapolis and rallied around the US Federal Courthouse to participate in the People's Climate Solidarity March.
