Reality TV Star Kristin Cavallari and her professional footballer husband Jay Cutler have just bought a farm in the tiny, celebrity-packed village of Leiper’s Fork in Tennessee.
30 miles southwest of downtown Nashville.
The couple splashed out $4.23 million on the plush farmhouse-style mansion and 10 acres of land – which is 30 miles southwest of downtown Nashville.
They also spent a further $1.2 million on 35 additional acres of mostly wooded surrounding property.
The 10,307 square foot property known as Highbrow Hill Farm has eight bedrooms, eight full and two half bathrooms.
Inside, there are polished hardwood floors, rough-hewn ceiling beams and reclaimed wood plank panelling.
There’s an open plan living space which includes a large living room, a music room, a huge dining area and a country kitchen complete with centre island under a trio of pendant lights crafted from rusted milk pails.
There’s also a dining porch with built-in grill and a finished lower level contains a recreation room with wet bar as well as an en suite bedroom suitable for overnighting guests or live-in help.
The gigantic master bedroom includes numerous sitting areas and occupies a private wing on the upper floor.
There’s a nearby dressing room lined with mirrored wardrobes and a rope swing. Outside, there’s pond, a large treehouse, an equestrian barn and fenced pasture, a chicken coop, a goat shed, and a sheep barn.
Other celebs who maintain country spreads in the Leiper’s Fork area include Justin Timberlake and country music royals Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. Naomi, Winona and Ashley Judd all maintain homes in the area as do Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman. The couple have just put their 20,000-square foot Nashville area mansion up for sale for $7.9 million.
