Alligator rescued from drain in Cape Coral
Add to Lightbox DownloadCops left stunned after discovering this hissing alligator in a sewer. Cape Coral police said they responded to a report of an alligator in a sewer opening. When they arrive in the scene, they quickly found the creature after hearing a blood-curdling hiss coming from the drain. An officer's body camera recorded the video on May 15 of a trapper pulling out the 7-foot-long reptile. The fearless trapper then used a noose to grab the gator before pulling it out of the sewer head first. Cape Coral police assisted with the removal of the alligator, which thrashed and rolled a few times on the grass before being put in the back of a pickup. 24 May 2019 Pictured: Alligator rescued from drain in Cape Coral.
