Rory McIlroy has signed a new deal with golf equipment maker TaylorMade
Add to Lightbox DownloadRory McIlroy has inked a new $100million, 10-year deal with golf equipment maker TaylorMade. The golfer was previously signed to the brand before moving to a multi-year deal with Nike in January 2013. Nike announced in August last year that it was stopping making clubs and balls, which freed-up McIlroy to sign a new deal in the golf space. McIlroy, who is ranked No. 2 in the Official World Golf Ranking — renewed his contract with Nike earlier this month in a reputed $100m deal and will continue to wear the sport brand’s clothes and shoes. McIlroy said in a statement: “My future rests firmly in my hands – that’s why I choose TaylorMade. I've been around the game long enough and have tested most clubs on the market, but I have never been as excited about equipment as I am right now.”. 09 May 2017 Pictured: Rory McIlroy has signed a new deal with golf equipment maker TaylorMade.
