Add to Lightbox DownloadJuly 6, 2018 - A number of Palestinians demonstrators are injured during clashes with Israeli soldiers along the Gaza-Israeli border on the east of Gaza City, as the Great March of Return protests continue for the 15th Friday. Dozens of Palestinian protesters gathered on the east of Gaza City burning tires and waving Palestinian flags with the Israeli soldiers firing gunshots and tear gas canisters to disperse the demonstrators, who replied with hurling stones at them. According to the Israeli authorities Palestinians released flammable kites into Israel causing fires to fields near the border. Since March 30th Gazans have held weekly Friday rallies defying the risks and since then at least 136 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 15 thousands injured by the Israeli army. Demonstrators have demanded their right of return to the land their ancestors were displaced or fled from, and they have also called for the lift of the siege on Gaza, enforced by Israel since 2007 (Credit Image: © Ahmad Hasaballah/IMAGESLIVE via ZUMA Wire)
