EXCLUSIVE: Screen legend Sir Michael Caine is using a zimmer frame to help him walk after breaking his ankle during Britain's recent snow storms. The double Oscar-winning actor, who has just celebrated his 85th birthday, looked frail as he was seen gingerly taking some steps as he continues his recuperation with a sunshine break in Barbados. At his side was stunning wife Shakira, 71, the actress and fashion model. It’s believed the Alfie star is working on a screenplay, as he was screen feverishly writing as he enjoyed the Caribbean sunshine. Despite a stellar career that spans 60 years, appearing in well over 100 films with offers of more meaty roles still coming in, he revelry said: “You don’t retire from movies, movies retire you.
