***Calais, Pas-de-Calais, France - 23.10.2016 Last day of the of the so called ”Jungle" refugee camp on the outskirts of the French city of Calais before the scheduled eviction. Many thousands of migrants and refugees are waiting in some cases for years in the port city in the hope of being able to cross the English Channel to Britain. French authorities announced that they will shortly evict the camp where currently up to up to 10,000 people live.***
