Don Swartz and his Flintstone car

Add to Lightbox Download

A Florida man was apprehended by cops in a mock arrest for "speeding" in his Fred Flintstone car. Deputies from Pasco County Sheriff's Department detained Don Swartz when he was spotted in his modified Smart Car in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Cops then staged a mock arrest of Swartz claiming he was speeding and being "unruly". Photos released by the sheriff's office show Swartz, who was dressed up as Fred, driving a Smart car decked out to look like the Flintstones' famous leg-powered vehicle. In a post, the sheriff's office said: "Mr Flintstone was issued a citation for speed and became unruly and had to be detained. After further investigation, Mr Flintstone was issued a Notice To Appear and released. Deputy Echevarria then seized the vehicle which is now part of the PSO fleet. This is what Intelligence-Led Policing looked like in the stone age.". 14 Nov 2018 Pictured: Don Swartz and his Flintstone car. Photo credit: MEGA TheMegaAgency.com +1 888 505 6342
