Germany: Anti-Fascist protest in Kandel
Add to Lightbox DownloadOctober 6, 2018 - Kandel, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany - An anti-fascist protester holds up a sign that reads 'Replace Nazis with kind people'. Around 300 people from right-wing organisations protested for the 14. time in the city of Kandel in Palatinate against refugees, foreigners and the German government. They called for more security of Germans and women from the alleged increased violence by refugees. The place of the protest was chosen because of the 2017 Kandel stabbing attack, in which a 15 year old girl was killed by an asylum seeker. They were confronted by around 400 anti-fascist counter-protesters from different political parties and organisations. (Credit Image: © Michael Debets/Pacific Press via ZUMA Wire)
