Saroo Brierley (born 1981) is an Indian-born Australian businessman who was separated from his birth mother, adopted by an Austalian couple, and 25 years later reunited with his birth mother. His story generated significant international media attention, especially in Australia and in India. He has written a book about his experiences titled A Long Way Home, which has been adapted for a film titled Lion, starring Nicole Kidman as his adopted mother, Sue Brierley.
