EXCLUSIVE: Spice Girl Mel B has filed for divorce from husband Stephen Belafonte - just weeks after he was seen cozying up to a mystery girl while the singer performed on Broadway. Belafonte, who was with a group of three male friends, spent over an hour talking to the petite black haired beauty after she arrived with a blonde pal at swanky restaurant STK in Manhattan's Meatpacking District. He was seen holding the girl's hand, talking intimately into her ear, and putting his arms around her waist. He regularly popped outside into the street, to have a cigarette, and at one stage was seen showing a tattoo on his lower lip to another blonde girl. Belafonte and the dark haired girl, who was wearing a laced-up top and thigh-high boots, left the restaurant together at 11.17pm and were driven away in the same car. Lip Sync Battle UK host and America's Got Talent judge Mel B, 41, is currently taking on the role of Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of musical Chicago for eight weeks and will perform until her run ends in February. The same evening as her husband was seen talking to the girl, Mel was spotted doing star jumps in Times Square. Brown secretly married Belafonte in Las Vegas in 2007, and the couple renewed their vows in a lavish ceremony in Egypt the following year. Their daughter Madison was born in 2011. Mel, whose real name is Melanie Brown, has had a rocky romantic life over the years. She began a relationship with a backup dancer while on the Spice Girl’s “Spiceworld” tour.
