Chris Hemsworth films a sequence with stunt double Bobby Holland Hanton on the set of Thor: Ragnarok in Australia
Add to Lightbox DownloadEXCLUSIVE: WEB EMBARGO UNTIL 1am PST ON Nov 3 Chris Hemsworth’s stunt double has given an exclusive behind the scenes look at his time on the set of Thor: Ragnarok to coincide with the release of the Marvel blockbuster. Opening up his personal photo diary taken while on location in Australia’s Gold Coast, British-born stunt master Bobby Holland Hanton talks long days on set with Hemsworth and how he’s become the Aussie star’s go-to stuntman and good friend having worked together for the past six years. Bobby, 33, also revealed one of his rigorous training sessions at his local London gym — where the former gymnast put on an impressive stunt routine including back flips and somersaults — before he headed out to Atlanta in September to start filming the fourth Avengers movie, where he will again double for Hemsworth as Thor. Of course, the types of foods he can eat are strictly regulated to those that are high in protein (lots of chicken, turkey, steaks and eggs) and only “good carbs” (brown rice, quinoa, sweet potatoes) and “good fats” (avocado, olive oil and natural nuts). And eating like Thor sure gives his wallet a bit of a hammering. “I spend around £250 a week on food, just for me” expla
