Rafael Nadal orders new yacht

Tennis ace Rafael Nadal has ordered this new luxury yacht. The Spanish star, 33, has commissioned Sunreef Yachts to create an 80 ft catamaran. The vessel - a Sunreef Power catamaran - is set to be delivered in 2020 and will be fully customized. It will feature a spa pool and a wet bar. “As someone from an island as I am, the sea is part of our lives and It’s not a secret that I love the sea,” Nadal said. “Every time I am at home in Mallorca I try to go out and find that time where I can just enjoy my time on a boat." He recently put his 76-foot Italian-built MCY 76 motor yacht up for sale for $3 million USD. Driven by a pair of either 1,200-hp or 575-hp engines, the 80 Sunreef Power is the Polish shipyard's latest powered yacht, and is said to be "built for lengthy and luxurious sojourns at sea with space for up to 12 guests". The cabin layout is customizable but will occupy the lower levels and either side of the parallel hulls, along with the crew quarters, guest bathrooms and storage space, according to the company.
