NYC: CUNY Students Rally for Fair Funding

March 23, 2019 - New York, New York, United States - For the third year in a row, the CUNY University Student Senate (USS CUNY) held its ''March In March'' calling upon Governor Cuomo and the New York State Legislature to freeze tuition and increase funding for financially strapped CUNY. Before the march across the Brooklyn Bridge, CUNY students alongside CUNY faculty, staff and elected officials held a press conference. The rally concluded at Brooklyn Borough Hall where Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, a CUNY graduate, joined USS CUNY in its demands.
