Thousands Attended Funeral Of Rebels In Kashmir

Thousands of Kashmiris attended the funeral of two rebels killed yesterday in a gun battle, by the Indian government forces. Six people were killed on Tuesday in a gun battle between Indian armed forces and rebels in the forest area of Tral, in south Kashmirs Pulwama district. Indian government forces killed four rebels including two Pakistan militants, in a 12-hour-long gun battle in Lam forests of Tral area yesterday in south Kashmirs Pulwama district. An Indian army trooper and an Indian policeman were also killed in the exchange of fire between Indian armed forces and militants who were hiding in the forest are. Clashes erupted in Aripal area of Tral after youth took to streets and hurled rocks at the Indian armed forces deployed there.
