Granny pleads for help to build home Nomaphike Jali’s house has stood half complete for more than a decade. She been living in this shack for more than 18 years. A 70-year-old Philippi woman has tearfully told of her daily struggle to raise 14 children, including grandchildren and two disabled daughters while sharing a two-roomed shack riddled with holes.Nomaphike Jali is unemployed and her daughters Nomahlontlo, 35, and Nokuthula, 31, are unable to walk without assistance and one of her daughters has been 3 times.
