December 17, 2018 - Maracaibo, Venezuela - Great mobilization civic military people, Bolivarian National Armed Force, militia and indigenous people took place on 17 December 2018 in the city of Maracaibo, Venezuela. In commemoration of the 188 years of the death of the Liberator Simon Bolivar, and following orders of President Nicolas Maduro ''to close ranks, knee to ground, in combat for the defense of national dignity and sovereignty'' and categorically reject. The interventionist pretensions of the United States (USA), the European Union and the other countries of the continent, to be prepared and united to defend the national territory against any threat or group ''guerrilla, dissident, paramilitary, criminal or drug trafficker'' that threatens Venezuela.
