Funeral of pro-India political activist killed in Kashmir

October 5, 2018 - Relatives and neighbours grieve over the death of Nazir Ahmed Wani, a Pro-India political activist shot dead outside a shop in Srinagar, during his funeral in the major city of Indian Administered Kashmir, on 5 October 2018. According to the police, suspected rebels are responsible for the shooting in Srinagar of three activists of the pro-India National Conference, a pro-India Kashmiri political group. Wani and a second activist targeted in the shooting lost their life immediately while the third activist was injured.
