NOOD Gets Underway in Chicago

June 9, 2017 - Chicago, IL, USA - The first of three days of the National Offshore One Design sailboat racing in Chicago took place on Friday, June 9, 2017. There were three racing circles of boats, each with different fleets. The wind shifted dramatically during the day, from the Southwest to the Northeast. In one design racing, the first one across the line is the winner of that race, since there is no handicapping. Sailing World is the sponsor of the regatta. The Chicago Yacht Club is the host.
