Add to Lightbox DownloadJuly 6, 2018 - Rio De Janeiro, Brazil - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, July 7, 2018: Tiradentes Palace, where the ALERJ - Legislative Assembly of the State of Rio de Janeiro works. The building in eclectic style was inaugurated in May 1926 and was designed by Archimedes Memoria and Francisque Couchet. In the place there was an imperial parliament built in 1640 and also it housed the Old Chain during the Empire of Portugal in Brazil. The allegorical sculptures of the facade represent Independence and the Republic.
