October 5, 2018 - Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India - Neighbors and relatives mourn on seeing the body of Nazir Ahmad one of the members of the regions oldest pro India political party, the National conference, killed by unidentified gunmen, during his funeral, on October 5, 2018 in Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian administered Kashmir, India. Two members of the regions oldest pro India political party, the National conference (NC), were shot dead while another was wounded by unidentified assailants in Karfali Mohalla area of summer capital city Srinagar. Local news agency reported that the militants attacked the close aides of NC Member Legislative Assembly for Habba Kadal constituency Shimami Firdous at Karfali Mohalla. The slain were identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Wani and Nazir Ahmed Wani.
