Add to Lightbox DownloadJune 16, 2017 - Oahu, HI, United States of America - The Polynesian double-hulled voyaging canoe, Hokule'a, approaches Oahu after sailing 40,000 nautical miles around the world during a 36-month journey in Hawaii. The Hokulea is a full-scale replica of an ancient Polynesian double-hulled voyaging canoe built to prove the theory that Polynesian people traveled great distances by boat throughout history.
